I was offered a 7 star gift of a wireless meat thermometer. I am seriously saying what the hell? I am curious if they tier this so lower level players get a mercury thermometer and upper level players get a human forehead thermometer?

I do not think this is the renewal gift as I earlier on received Bose sunglasses.

This is just bizarre, not the least of which the product is called the Meater+.

Those are great for when you're smoking meat low and slow. You don't have to babysit it near as much.

    There are no words.

Not saying the item isn't useful but as a gift for players, many of whom have theos in the tens of thousands of dollars? There are no words.

You can get the Original Meater for $69 or the Meater + with 165' range for $99 on Amazon, but I'll bet that Caesars got a discount for buying a couple thousand.

Also works well if you want to gamble and use the wireless option to monitor the baby's temperature in the room.

One or both of these probably happened:

    1) Caesar's has somebody constantly scouring Amazon/Alibaba/wherever looking for deals and they were able to get a bunch of these for pennies.

    2) They did market research and found out that there is a decent overlap of Seven Star members and people who like to grill/BBQ/otherwise cook meat.

Knowing players at my local casino double and triple up on the gift pickups for their household, it'd be funny watching people walking around with multiple Meater+ thermometers.

Also looking forward to this AC gift eventually migrating to other markets once they find no one wants them.

....and now I need a Meater+. If I order it now I may be able to sneak it in with my wife's Amazon Christmas shopping adding to cart now.

My AC Host literally was hysterical and couldn't stop laughing that this is what they came up with. She said the name alone has sparked quite a number of crude jokes among her clients and co-workers. Last year's gift of a google nest was much better received. I am not sure if these gifts are specific to a market or they will make their way nationally. I am just curious what the bulk discount price was. The mailer says if they run out they would give you $75 in FP although amazon lists the product for $99. My guess is they paid $50 and it likely costs $10 to manufacturer.

What's the difference between an oral and a rectal thermometer?

This is huge for poker players who take a bad meat at the table and are steaming.
