I didn’t think a restricted free agent had this much leverage since the Kings should be able to match his offer sheet. I wonder if there are temporary trade restrictions once the Kings match, since he be will be under a new contract.

Weird rumors on Klay. Some said heel injury, others say Achilles. Supposedly even father Mychal doesn’t sound optimistic.

Yes, I've seen it termed only as a "lower leg injury." I would expect he's out until early spring, but, like I said, Pascall is a decent replacement, not a great scorer like Klay, but every bit his equal on defense. If Andrew Wiggins can average 19 or 20 along with Steph's 25, the Warriors will be competitive. Unfortunately, they may need some key injuries on the Lakers or Clippers if they expect to win the West.

It's a shame cause it was the right leg , coming off the left leg injury . Feel bad for the guy.

More reports on Klay’s Achilles tear. MRI is scheduled for tomorrow morning. We’ll know soon enough.

I always thought he was the more durable Splash Brother.

Seth a good addition to Philly. Gives them a shooter who can compliment Simmons. I think Doc will put this team right into contention for the Eastern title.

I can see what their vision is but I don’t think this trade made them any better. I liked Richardson and his role...

Before the injury to Klay, GSW was +650 to win it all.

Just breaks my heart! I know these guys are millionaires many, many times over and he'll be just fine... but damn, the "shelf-life" of a pro athlete is so short and fragile... and they put in so much dedication and hard-work to maximize their talent... one has to wonder if we'll ever see Klay "do his thing" again?

IMO - he will still be a good catch & shoot guy but I don’t view him as being a great on ball defender anymore with two bum wheels.

Ballers who came back strong from a torn Achilles: Dominique Wilkins, Breanna Stewart & *cough, cough* Rudy Gay.

Maybe there’s more but I can’t think of any. Jury is still out on what KD will look like.

You can’t be serious. I did say came back strong. He was completely ineffective post Achilles? He played 107 games in 3 seasons post Achilles. His 60 point final game was sheer willpower, I give you that. But Kobe was a shadow of himself.

it takes a season of play to get past those kinds of injuries.
