So, any information about the Orleans? I was just in Vegas and for the first time in forever I did not go to either the Gold Coast or the Orleans.

I am so sorry that I have been lax at keeping this updated. With 3 nighters, you just go go go. I headed over to M Resort, later than I wanted to. (See no sleep above) and watched some of the GB game, and lost $400 at the bar, w/o not even 1 quad. Grrr
Back to Orkeans for a bit and more play, still no quads until 1 drawn set of 8s on $1 DDB. Off to Red Rock T-Bones w/a local.
All I can say, is was the BIGGEST THICKEST T-Bone steak I have ever seen and no, I could not eat it all.

Back to Orleans for the night, and I finally got my 1st kicker hand.

I did make Emerald and will get my new cards tomorrow, when I see the host, and ask about carryover points and tier status, for those not able to visit during Covid.

I called it an early night, 1015pm, and got some supplies from the gift shop, spending $80 of my +$400 comp points.

Tomorrow after a lazy sleepin, I plan to go check out Circa.

I also would love to hear thoughts on Orleans vs. Cal/other downtown locations..
Can you at least find something to eat 24/7?

Has been about 3 trips I've been meaning to check it out, but still haven't yet.
    maybe next one,

:thumbsup:A day 1 $4K hit has to take a little of the sting out of weak BConned offers... Comp Yo Self!

(added, also IIRC thought someone said some properties could just cut you a check at the players club for your point credits, don't remember if Boyd is one of them.. Highly doubt it now)

Used to be the case at Boyd properties before they changed Bconned rules, at least for top tier (Emerald then). I used that service many times.
It was nice to get a $1000 check at the end of your trip. Even better if the trip you were already up, way up.

Aydee..I would love the combo of The Cal's rooms and Orleans casino. Orleans rooms are getting a tad dated. And every day it seems Ms Bessie A/C unit will give her last breath! Ha. More on that later.

One notable addition to Orleans...they are laying down brand new spanking carpet in the casino! Just near the main entrance, up to Alder and Birch, so a long work in progress. Also, due to this, machines are being moved and repositioned. My lucky royal bank by the Alligator bar is gone and/or moved. I will have to hunt them down again.

Also, never made it to Circa. Just too bushed and hurting getting to Westgate to cash out some persons sports tickets. It was after 3pm, so decided best bet was to head back to Orleans, and rest up a bit before dinner out with some local friends.

Having breakfast at the Cafe b4 checkout, so I can use my food comp. It is YAH day, so may play for an hour, then cash out my points. Going home with my bankroll intact plus another $800. Works for me!

Sounds to me like a good reason to plan another trip to get to Circa

I am not a fan of the Stevens. But I have to say that Circa's sports book, its Mega Bar and the pool are simply impressive.

I all ready counted my $$.
Only the 3rd time in 30 years, I think, that I am coming home with more than I arrived with. Saving it for the next trip. In early Feb.
