September 8-18 in Vegas - 10 Days - 4 Hotels - My longest trip yet!

I'm exhausted! Finally in my room. I knew octavius was a walk but omg and I'm at the end of the hall. I finally make it, hard to breath with a mask. I get to my room and my key doesn't work. F&#~k! So I huff and puff back down. Thankfully the diamond check in was not busy. Girl was very sorry.

Room is nice. Big bed. Sofa. No fridge no coffee. Boo. Glad I brought my own.

After seeing this and having been on Augustus, I think I prefer Augustus. But this will do for 2 nights and even better if they throw in a jackpot.

WOW what a view! That is a sight for sore eyes. Glad you made it safely! Was just on a work call longer than expected and hustling off to bed now, but I'll be eagerly checking this in the morning looking out for some jackpot photos!

 

OK my first night and I'm. Calling it. Exhausted and my knees are killing me from the long walks. I k ow I said this the last time I stayed here but CP is just to freaking huge. I got lost looking for the vp section. Took almost an hour to find a cocktail waitress. And poor thing, she was super sweet but over worked.

I never did eat anything. Ooops. I started out on vp and started great. Then that dtopped. Tried a few slots. Hit a few bonuses but nothing great. My trusty devil on wicked wherl gave me nothing. I was down almost 300 and had a rebound on vp. So I'm only down 150 for over 3 hours. Not horrible. Sorry I don't have huge jackpot pics for you. [emoji849] Maybe tomorrow! To be honest, I'm really looking forward to going to the plaza.

Oh and the scooter gangs, ya it's a thing even at CP!

Plans for tomorrow are to head to Bellagio. I have freeplay and free gellato. PlUs I want to match my cet diamond.

Its now 3am my time and I'm done!

This is just like me on my first night! Always blow off eating and stay up very late, usually I'm up for more than 24 hours total. The only advantage of this rotten pandemic is that I am forced to make meal reservations. Otherwise I'd just keep going all night! Keep hitting quads!

 

Good morning Las Vegas!!

Ok, so last night was not the first night jackpot winning night I had imagined. But I had fun! CP is not great on cocktail service, but I got what I needed. Actually, since I hadn't eaten since that lunch the airport, 2 glasses of wine was all I could handle. Also, a quick note, there was no masks or sanitizer in the room at CP. I know a lot of other places supply that. You would think a higher end place would do this but oh well! Also, at check in she said for my free Diamond drinks there was Vanderpumps, Starbucks and the pool bar. I thought for sure others were saying there were more, but I'll check that out. The Forum Starbucks is such a hike from Octavius, not sure I'll try that.

This morning I had some quick work and now I'm getting ready to head out. Plan for today is to go over to Bellagio. I have some free play, free gellato and also want to do the tier match. And of course go see the conservatory!

Tonight I have a reservation for Old Homestead. Will probably try the Prix Fixe thanks to @eliza ! And then some Rudies friends are all going to Emerald Isle. I have never been there, so that should be fun!

Ok, more later! I'm getting ready to hit the day. By the way it's beautiful here today. Low 80s! Perfect for me! A few picks in the next post as I'm jumping from laptop to phone.

OK so flag on the play. Got half way to bellagio and didn't have my cet card. Can't match without that. It's either in the room or in a machine. Went to rewards desk and got new. Now I need a break so sitting at vp and drinking my free Starbucks. Then I'll try mlife again. Ugh

 

The front desk at CP hands out anti-bacterial spray Ceasars branded pumps, looks like a thick marker. Also plenty of masks at the dispensers near the entrance at CP or at Bellagio across the street.

I think the Lobby Bar also has free Laurel Lounge drinks, but you have to sit down on a small table.

Don't forget there are two Starbucks at Ceasars, one is next to Diamond Checkin/Augustus Tower elevators. Both Starbucks give out the Laurel Lounge drinks.

 

AAA should change their hotel diamond requirements; I’d much rather have a TV in the bathroom than a landline phone And can we get a fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave on their requirements too?

 

Last night the Augustus Starbucks looked empty. But it was open this morning. Yay. No more diamond line though. Too bad.

 

Good luck! The gelato at Bellagio was amazing! We had a 2 for 1 with Myvegasrewards or whatever the slot is called.

 

I got my gold card for mlife. Then played a bit. Nothing much was nice until I tried golden crntury
A couple nice bonus brought me back to even for the day!

Now I'm enjoying some gellato for lunch thanks to my Vegas! Lemon and mango. Yum!

Back in the room for a bit to chill and enjoy this $7 water! But I have plenty of RC to burn, so whatever. Next time I'll get it a Starbucks and use one of my free drinks.

Bellagio treated me pretty well on slots. I found my fav game wonder 4 spinning fortunes and hit this!



And that brought me back to even for the day. Yay. The drink service at bellagio was also non existent. For the hour or so I played, not one server. I guess my liver thanks me! ☺️

There is some very loud across the hall ugh. And ya what everybody is saying. Definitely a different crowd here right now.

Need to charge the phone and chill until dinner!
