I've been playing mock NBA betting lines, and I've finding it really difficult. In addition, Vegas and sports books are way off on where they're setting the lines. I chalk it up to the time off for these teams/players, but mostly to the lack of home court advantage. Any thoughts?

So if this is making it difficult to bet? Does that mean it has been easy before?

Well, maybe "more difficult to navigate" is a better way to say it. Was never easy before, but I've always found the NBA to be the best sport to bet on.

Wouldn't touch most of these seeding games, and I bet on NBA often. Once the playoffs start, we will see.

I think it is pretty similar to the first few games of the season where there appears to be higher "variances" in some of the lines, if you get a good bead on it you can probably make some money.
with more uncertainty I love to bet the under dog money line FWIW (which isn't much)

Truth of it is, I'm such a Wizards homer, I bet them +8..... knowing damn well they can't cover that without Wall & Beal....

For me it's "lack of a team that I'm really interested in" that makes it impossible for me to be.

Trying to figure this out for NHL as well, since having last change is worth something, but how much is it worth compared to also having an insane crowd that is currently lacking?
