    Hey,

Anyone know if the Downtown casinos are still offering free cups? Since the bars are shutting down I'll probably be making a lot of my own drinks this trip. Thanks!

I would assume they would still be available, you still need to use plastic cups leaving casinos even if you're only getting drinks away from the bar.

I think some of them were removed, IIRC I heard they're just letting you take glass out on fremont (I did), but somewhere DT, I forget which, did have them. When you take one now, you kind of wonder if any hands have been on them..

Also the bar closure is going to make it even harder to get ice, most of the ice machines are shut down..

Indeed, I can't say this is the case everywhere, but I've never been in a place that didn't have plastic cups for roadies. On the Strip, at least, I regularly ask for a cup and some ice to pour a soda in. I would strongly encourage you not to bring glass out, things can go very wrong.

My group always pack a stack of red solo cups for our trips. We mix a to go cocktail in room and keep our cup with us throughout the day. The waitresses are great about pouring cocktails in our plastic cups.

Was down there the other day and just took my beer bottle out on fremont as it has to be safer covidwise than an open cup. Security guard said something to me as i was passing through the check point and i simply said this is much safer than an open cup and he was "like oh yeah you're right i didn't think of that" and went on my way. This was all day to, making my way from plaza (with many pit stops) all the way down to atomic liquors and back.

    And me as well.

Also, damn it. This actually was a question in my trivia league just on Friday, after finally getting the song out of my head weeks later.

My wife restricts me to one red solo cup of red wine at the parties we host. Pictured is the cup.
