It’s weird, but that GPS pic really made me miss Vegas. I can never remember the name of that road so we refer to it as “that f’n Star Wars street” and it makes us laugh.

I'd be surprised if the answer isn't a little bit of all of them. We were up late and I encouraged her to enjoy the suite a few more hours after dropping me at the airport at 7...ish. and she said she wanted to check out then go to Cosmo and get food to bring home. She loves Cosmo.

If you didn't get Pok Pok Wings for lunch, we can't be friends anymore. :wink2:

Thanks for sharing your wonderful trip with us. I enjoyed following along. Although, it would have been a lot more drunky if I had been able to be there in person with you. :) But I'm not sure @MCann would have appreciated my suggestion that he sleep on the chaise so I could share that awesome suite with you guys. :poke: :haha:

Thanks for the TR... was twice as fun getting the trip from two awesome perspectives  Not only the stunning Bellagio suite, but all the yummy fooooods ngl I might be a tiny bit envious :feedme::feedme: Oh before I forget, some post-trip animal fun to battle PVD; apparently this video is supposed to show a lizard’s defense mechanism but it’s so hilariously adorable that I’m not sure said mechanism serves the intended purpose :haha::love:

I have another bucket list room booked September 2nd. Only I know which one, but it's in Vegas! But whether or not it gets used will depend on what happens between now and then. I dont feel like it's necessarily worth going again for the kind of money it costs me to go to Vegas until things change for the better, and a budget Vegas trip just doesnt appeal to me too much. Also booked at Harrah's Cherokee the next week. Wont do both but good chance we'll do one or the other.

@Sonya you are hilarious! Pok Pok wasn't open when I was there and neither was Lardo! :(
I got some huge cookies to take home from District, and an extra helping of Hattie B's mac n cheese to take home in my cooler. :)

    And here's the wrap up!

This Vegas trip was fun because I didn't get sick (unlike Christmas!), and I got lots of quality time with my favorite travel partner.@MCann treated us to some amazing food adventures, our suite at Bellagio was my favorite (it was SO COOL!), and....I love food. We had so much good food despite the limitations.

Food: We ate so much good stuff! :feedme:

Early food birthday present at Bazaar was one of my favorite experiences. The ambiance, our waiter Eric, the courses, being able to discuss the courses and enjoy them.... aside from getting stuck there waiting for a damn cab afterwards, it was a fantastic evening. I even got a copy of the menu to take home!

The Wynn buffet, my dude's choice, was a wonderful experience and despite me scoffing at the price tag, I would totally do it again! It was fun sharing all the foods with him too.

I loved eating at the Cosmo, as always. China Poblano was on point for a light meal - and next time I'll order 2 tacos. The queso fundido with chorizo was something I hadn't had and it was fuckin' delicious!
    20200705_190642.jpg
Wolfgang Puck's joint at Crystals Shops was great too. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We even got a 20% off coupon to use for next time too, which was great!

Gaming: While I didn't play as many of my favorite slots like I normally would have, I was on a tight budget and still had fun. I found a lot of games I'd never played before, and followed my dude's lead and played some games I'd never played (like Whales of Cash and DragonLink!). Won some money before giving it all back. Even with - for the most part - every other game turned off, I found a bunch of fun slots, and we were able to hang out next to each other.

Given the current state of things, mask usage was being enforced most everywhere we went. Especially at Bellagio and CET properties, security was going around reminding people to put theirs on, barring people from going downstairs (from their rooms) or other areas without one, monitoring the gaming floor and stepping in.

After dropping M at the airport on our last day, Vegas didn't feel the same. I hung out in the suite till checkout, but after wandering around Cosmo it didn't feel right not having someone to share it with.

Hotels: Staying at Caesar's Palace was great - but you can't beat that suite we had at Bellagio. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime thing (or at least not an all-the-time thing). The view was phenomenal, and we were so so fortunate to see numerous fountain shows from the window. It was insane, some of the choreography and work that goes into the fountain shows. As M may have mentioned in his TR, we got the "fountain channel" in our room, to perfectly sync the music with show! Helped us get some amazing video footage of the fountains from a view you won't normally see. It was amazing!
    20200706_235638.jpg
That steam shower was also amazing & relaxing - and something you can install at home! If you wanted.
We had a nice dining area, but weren't there long enough to use it. Drinking mimosas and eating cheese in the room was really fun!

"Because the radio will still play loud, songs that we heard as our guards came down.
Like in the summertime when we first met - I'll never forget, and don't you forget
    These nights are still ours."
    20200706_205230.jpg

Now dealing with those post-vacation blues. Coming home to living alone with my cats (but they were happy to see me!), in my apartment, across the country from my dude. There are worse things, I know - for now, all we have are these little trips to look forward to. We got some good photos together and made a lot of nice memories! :D While we didn't meet up with anyone while there, and some of my favorite friends weren't there, it was a fantastic little getaway. Hopefully our next trip will be Labor Day or Thanksgiving, but we'll have to wait and see!
