I’d be remiss if I didn’t tout the Loco Moco at Aloha Specialties, at the Cal. But I’ve had a lot of experience at Magnolia’s and I’d rate them solid for breakfast. Especially for that morning when you say “What the hell, I’m in Vegas, I’ll have the country fried steak and eggs.

Stay away from Siegel's (El Cortez) unless you're getting it free. I love the El Co but Siegel's has gone downhill the last few years and they've changed their damn hash brown about 4-5 times over the last 18 months.

Well, scratch them off the list until business picks up. Which probably won't happen until Hawaii opens up again.

White Castle's sausage, egg, and cheese sliders aren't too bad. Neither is the breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts inside the Fremont.

White Castle breakfast sandwiches are surprisingly good. This from someone who lives in their original territory.

Hash Hash at the Plaza wasn't open, but Magnolia's was still open 24 hours. I didn't try anywhere else downtown for breakfast when I was there last night.

Magnolia's, country fried steak and eggs. Not just one of my favorite meals in Vegas, but anywhere else. Simple fare, but beyond delish.

The queens court or royal something or other. It has something from everything. My wife got it once. She expected one of each thing and it was a bit more than that. But a valué nonetheless sometimes it’s best to read all the information listed.

I make sure to ask for extra throw up gravy on the side. Yum.
