Backstory: In January I made a small bet at PH for LSU to win the College Football Championship. They did, but for obvious reasons, I haven't been back to Vegas, and of course, PH remains closed. Right now, I'm planning to be back in Vegas next month and will be staying at Caesars. Has anyone had any luck cashing a sports ticket at a casino other than the one they bought the ticket at?

    Thanks!

Any book in the chain will cash out your ticket.
All CET's will handle any ticket no matter the origin. Same situation with MGM properties.
I have never used William Hill, so I can't speak to their policies.

To be clear, CET books in other states cannot cash NV tickets. But the OP can cash at any open CET casino on the Strip

All you had to do was fill out the back and mail it in, they send you back a check. I have done it several times, Your ticket might not be redeemable now, I think the time limit is 6 months unless they have extended it due to the covid

I know that I could mail it in, but for such a relatively small amount, it doesn't seem worth even a minimal amount of hassle. I double checked the back of the ticket and it is good for 365 days from the date of the event. If I were to end up canceling my trip, and don't go this year, I can always send it in by mail later.

    Thanks for your feedback!

William Hill tickets can be cashed at any William Hill location. Have done it many times.

I have done it within the State of Nevada (specifically Las Vegas). Not sure about cashing inter-state. Sure there are jurisdictional considerations.

One horror story on mailing in tickets was enough for me to not chance it. A friends brother had a winning 3 grand ticket *lost* in the mail from a Mayweather fight a few years back. MGM signed for the ticket, never made him whole.
