To be fair during the day seemed to be fine, it was in the evening after the drinks start adding up, things got lax.

When I stayed at Cosmo 2 weeks ago, it was by far the most loose place I saw mask wise. Like ALPAL said, it was fine during the day, but after din din time, the masks were off and the partying began. It was mostly younger folks in large groups moving through the casino and or at the bars.

@AlPal if you're 36 going on 75 for being bothered, I'm 43 going on 99. I cancelled a comp stay there later this weekend and friday night dinner reservations after seeing the trip reports and a few live videos. At least you have a nice room to hide in with a balcony for fresh air!

I was denied hard for any upgrade at Caesars, but a nice pool view Octavious room isn’t terrible.

Dinner was at Hell’s Kitchen, I forgot I had a reservation there today. When I received the reminder I considered canceling, but then decided to go and check it out. I had never been. I started with the lobster risotto and it was phenomenal, probably my favorite dish. I then had a Caesar Salad, the Beef Wellington, Mac and cheese and sticky toffee pudding. Overall everything was very good, but the Wellington was underwhelming and honestly rather bland. I also had a “Notes from Gordon” cocktail, which is gin based and delicious. Total was $18 after using my Diamond celebration dinner voucher. I’d come back, but it won’t be for the Wellington.

Crazy! Were you denied at Diamond check in? I never been rejected an upgrade especially a slow weekday period. I usually stay 5 nights at CP too. What upgrades did you ask for and what did the check in attendant say?

After a fountain view of Bellagio, that's one of the better views in Vegas, in my opinion. They have such an awesome pool area. I put in a view request with my reservation but we'll see what happens.

Diamond check in, I was asking for an Augustus strip view or palace studio, he made a call but it wasn’t approved. I was surprised, mid week and I’m a solid diamond Plus. Oh well.

Well based upon your Cosmo observations i may cancel and just stay at The D. I was really hoping to enjoy the balcony and fireworks. Nice pool view at CP.

I wonder what was going on that day. When I checked in a few weeks ago the front desk associate told me she was able to comp upgrade to the Palace Studio or Fountain View room from an Octavius room (took the Palace Studio) but would have to call a host for the Forum Suites and above. I refused to have her call a host simply because I was staying on a more pricey time Fri-Wed.

Wishing you better luck moving forward.

I wouldn’t expect any fireworks on the Strip. Maybe at the Plaza Downtown

    Wednesday 7/1
Started the day at 6am, waited in line at Starbucks for 25 minutes, moved about 6 feet. Decided to head to Mon Ami Gabi for breakfast instead, always a delicious meal.
    121BBB44-755C-4971-BBEE-8255DBABC482.jpeg

After breakfast I took a walk to NYNY, my plan was to play my $200 on FP, cashed out with $130. No quads on DDB hurt.

Continued my walk and headed for Caesars, the pool was calling my name but the video poker machines were calling it louder. I found a bank of progressive DDB machines and proceeded to play each of them over the course of about 3 hours. Started with $100, finished with $570. Several quads including Aces with a kicker. Racked up 500 TC and called it a day.

I did make it to the pool, about 4 hours after I planned on it.

    Thursday 7/2

I started the day by taking an Uber to GG, plan was to collect my freeplays, use my matchplay at The D and burn my food credit and comps at Andiamo. Rather uneventful day up until The D. Thanks to my matchplays I’ve saved up I turned $500 into $1350 in a quick blackjack session.
    3CB04349-BC09-40D7-93AD-90D8FFFE2385.jpeg
Played a while at the Vue bar, managed to hit the SF progressive for like $160. My second SF of the trip, still waiting on the royal though! Also hit several 4oaks and cashed out up $350.

I had activated the ACG freeplay coupon but only racked up enough points for $35 in FP, but had a good run on that $35.

Cashed out with $100 profit. Finished the day up $2020 on the trip, hopefully that isn’t a bad omen. 2020 hasn’t been good so far!

A bit of pool time this morning and then off to the last stop for the trip, Sahara. I’m semi excited to check this property out, although it looked like a ghost town when we drove by the other day.

Walked to the Sahara, about 3 miles from CP. Had planned to stop and eat at the peppermill, but after calling to confirm there was immediate seating at the bar I arrived 15 minutes later and was told 2-3 hours. Yeah no. Continued to Sahara. Was offered a free upgrade to the Alexandria Tower. Room is small, but nice.

Please do lots of detail on Sahara. I seem to have an odd liking for it!

I agree, there's something about that place that keeps me coming back to the casino.

The Sahara is ridiculously busy, more so then I’ve ever personally seen it. The line for the main tower elevators was close to 75 people deep last night, thankfully the Alexandria elevators haven’t been as bad. 5-10 waiting max. Had a so so breakfast at Northside, you put your order in with the bartender then take a seat. They bring your food in a bag with everything you need. Odd setup, but works.
I debated about playing today, just wasn’t feeling it. (Mainly didn’t want to lose any of my profits). Well, I’m glad I did. I hit this on my first $100 of the day. I promptly cashed out.

I did play a couple hundred through a $5 Dueces machine as a Hail Mary, didn’t last long. Played a bit more here and there but the bankroll started to dwindle and I decided to head back to the room. Currently sitting up $2660 for the trip. I’m considering heading to GG for an ACG freeplay run. We shall see.

Ended up just hanging in the room, decided I’m going home with my profits. I did venture down to grab a coffee, I had entered a freeplay contest on the kiosk earlier in the day, I decided to check the winners board, why I have no clue, I never win drawings....like NEVER.
    E9BC18BD-61ED-462E-922C-70A506131882.png
Except...yeah I won $300 in FP. I won! Unfortunately after a successful Dueces wild conversion ($300FP to $284cash) I decided to play WOF Gold Wheel. That $284 cash went quick.

As far as Sahara as a property, I like the casino but that’s where it stops. I have been taking the stairs from my 14th floor room because the line for the elevator is often 20-30 people long. The other towers elevator line is at least double that. I’m actually considering moving somewhere else tonight.
