With a low payback % on regular slots in Vegas and lots of negative ev video poker I would say it is more possible to be on the bad side of variance especially long term lol so lots of bad, some good. I second this recommendation---I would book that win and drive the pacific coast highway from LA to Oakland--one year ago today I was on this drive and its exquisite. We overnighted in San Luis Obispo so we could take our time and started the second day with the Hearst Castle tour. If that is closed, maybe Gaggles could break in and ride one of the zebras to that epic pool!

My current view. I wanted to get off the strip so I gave up my cushy Augustus room for a little room at Four Queens. Not quite the Bellagio fountains is it??

The room here could use a renovation but it’s comped snd no bogus resort fee.
I kinda like the bathrooms here.
And my damn safe ain’t working so I’ve gotta carry all my money with me. That can be dangerous when I’m drunk.

 

Is that a “base” south tower room? If so, looks waaaaay better than the north tower room

 

This morning was a bit of an ordeal. Got a late check out and went to pick up my car rental at Hertz. One way rental with a drop off in Reno for $240 US for.a week. Not too bad. I didn't know that the address to the car rental place was taking me to Wynn. Who knew?

 

I am not sure what tower or room this is?

In the meantime, while you’re at Wynn... could be worth heading over to Charlie’s bar at the sportsbook to see if they still comp cocktails for VP play even at single credit $1 denom.

So here's the grind for me. I ordered pick up for 12:00. I get to rental place and see sign "Gone to Lunch from 12-1". At 1:00, nobody to be seen. I manage to find a worker who said "Rental lady back in 15".

I come back, nada. I phone Hertz and I am told, we are picking up cars and back at 1:45. I am starting to get pretty annoyed. I am tired. I am hungry. And what if I had a schedule or an agenda? How can a car company just be almost two hours late to get me my car?

Anyways, I was pretty grumpy when she arrived but I bit my tongue. It worked in my favour. I got a BMW SUV instead of a compact. These bad boys are nice but their are so many gadgets and stuff in this car. When I parked the car, it took me 3-4 minutes to figure out how to put it in park. I kept putting it in Neutral but thought it was in Park. The only reason I caught that it was in neutral us because I was on an incline and the car starting rolling. Thank goodness I was on a little incline. I don't know how you rich people drive these things?!?!?!?

 

MB advised that after he hit that $1400 carny slot, the luck eluded him for much more of the night. I lost him somewhere after the Bellagio but in what I thought was more than a fair trade I met up again with @notatthetablecarlos

We had a lot of fun donating some money at the Flamingo. I also might have had another shot or two of Fireball. That stuff really fogs my memory you guys.

 

Those jets in the showers are kinda nice. I didn’t even notice them until I got in the shower. Is everyone ready for Round 4???? I hope so because....

 

Did it automatically put the parking break on EVERY time you put it in park? Our driveway slants down and it took me weeks to not try to manually set my parking break!

 

Yes, that’s a South Tower room - does it have a fridge? (if it didn’t, they took them out and I need to call to make sure I have a fridge for my upcoming trip - my T1D and I need it for insulin storage, for starters ). I guess I need to check the safe right when I get to the room - that’s a deal-breaker for me The bathroom is definitely the best part of the regular South Tower rooms for sure Maybe you’ll run into @wasilla ???
