I don’t live near a casino so when I do go, I gamble hard and typically end up with 7-stars after about 5 days of gambling (For example, I was in Vegas for 5 days in Feb and have 206k reward credits and this is my only trip this year) After this, I take my wife’s card, get it for her so we both have a 7-stars trip and then I’ll do it for my friend, his wife, etc throughout the rest of the year.

My question is, is there any point in me just continuing with my card? I feel as though there should be an even higher level to try and obtain but the experience credits are crap and and way too many points are needed for what they are actually valued. When I get comped tickets to CET shows, I’m on the front row, when I ask about a concert at a rival venue (I’ll get comped tickets to a concert at MGM Grand for example) my host tells me I’m in the “A” players section Which suggests even if I doubled my gambling I would still get the same comps. I’ve never paid for food, drinks, anything from gift shop, tickets, golf, airline tickets or daily spa massages for my wife and I. They even gave me a limo and driver to drive me around one day to Best Buy, and some other shops off strip to find something very specific for my wife’s computer for work. Considering all this, I don’t see where there would be any value of me continuing to try and obtain more reward credits. Does anyone have any experience of obtaining, for example, 1 million tier credits or more and have any insight as to how your experience is different? I’m wondering if theres a reason I should continue to help my friends or just accumulate points for myself.

Thanks to anyone that can help out!

Well, that depends on you . . . the next level is 250K TC, which qualifies you for a signature event worth about $500.

I have never earned 1M TCs, nor would I ever attempt to achieve 1M TCs. In the years that I was 7*, once I made 7*, my Play shifted to another membership program that had casinos where I liked to stay.

Hope that helps, but it's PURELY a personal decision.

I think your process getting your wife comps is good. Guessing you sometimes even double book to get her offers and yours.

I did that for many years - she plays very little - but once I got high tend Diamond, I would use her card to get her to the same level. We would EACH get great FP offers. I did get a call from a host once when I using her FP when she "maybe" was not there. Going forward I would still put play on her card when using her FP.

As to friends - okay - but make sure your friend is instructed to never reveal how they got that level. To NOBODY.

For some variety - give Mlife or Cosmo a days play. You will still have way more comps than you know what to do with. And no way to spend them.

I actually use to have some status with Mlife (diamond maybe?) but it expired and their casinos aren’t located where I tend to be most.

I thought about just forgoing CET for a trip to Vegas for the Wynn. I spoke to a host there in feb and she gave me her card and would comp my room and meals to see how I gamble, but I think Wynn caters to higher rollers, but I could be wrong.

Oh, btw, why do you say to not have your friends tell anyone? I’m pretty sure my host already knows I do it.

Once, I was in AC and got my friends wife diamond in a day and she was summoned into the casino credit dept to fill out some paperwork. Don’t recall the details but it was something about her going from only betting $5 bucks a hand to betting $125/hand on JoB. I went in with her and told them I was playing on it and it was no big deal.

I’ve also hit multiple jackpots multi times from multiple places with my friends cards and have told the attendant and it has never been a problem at all. Hit a Royal on my buddies once as well.

If you achieve 7* after 5 days and believe there is a chance you could achieve 1million tier credits in a year I think your plenty High Roller enough for Wynn

Hey Dai, thanks for the reply. Yea I know the next level is 250k for some experience credit, it just doesn’t seem worth it. You accumulate 100k points which is 1 million cycled through and you only get $500?!? Just not worth it to try and obtain. However if the next level was 500k tier credits, for example, and they make even more unique offerings, guarantees, no waits, etc then it may be worth it.

I just used 1 million as an example. I do a casino trip to somewhere about 4-5 times a year, so I could probably do it but just seems to be no reason. May as well share the love with family and friends.

    Thanks for your reply!

I think you are doing it right...if you are getting absolutely everything comped on your trips, a good strategy is to get 7 stars on your wife’s card (and other additional cards) to max out the hard comps like airfare that come with an additional 7 stars trip. Certainly, you should be redeeming free play offers for both yourself and your wife’s card on every trip.

It almost sounds like you have room for even more to be comped off backend on your trips...you play golf...merchandise at Cascata can be charged back to your room at Caesars Palace, and they have some damn nice stuff (wink). There are ways to rack up room charges at your level that are not generally allowed/not compable but can enable you to take some things home that you might find valuable.

There is no more meaningful upside for you simply accumulating more TCs at CET. Certainly, you would be an RFB player at Wynn or Aria if that interests you.

Like with any rewards program, the "correct" answer depends completely on what you want to get out of your loyalty to a given place. It seems that you enjoy the Seven Stars perks enough to justify playing to that level. But it also seems you're capable of going far beyond that, to the point that you're effectively willing to give away those benefits to others.

I'm sure that this goes without saying, but if you're capable of earning Seven Stars for four or more people per year, your gambling action is nothing short of extremely valuable. As such, you can have a lot of negotiating power when it comes to getting what you want based on your stated preferences, as opposed to the "pedestrian" offerings of a loyalty programs and its tiers. That is, Seven Stars might offer you fixed benefits like the annual retreat, airfare credit, and the free cruise... but the question is, what do YOU want? I think you need to know the answer to this in order to determine the right course of action.

For instance, do you want a baller suite to stay in? If so, look around at different casino-hotels to find which suite you like the most so that you can position yourself there as a VIP who could qualify for such a suite.

As another example, do you want cash back/comps? If so, there are several off-strip places that offer much more aggressive cash back and comps than strip properties. You'll get far more bang for your buck there if you've effectively "maxed out" what you can get from Caesars Rewards.

The bottom line here is that you're in a way better position to get exactly what you want from a casino property than the average player is, just by virtue of how much you play. But like I said... to achieve that, you need to know what you want so that you can ask for it.

Some very good points to ponder. To be honest, I don’t really know what I want. I just enjoy playing and enjoy keeping the wife happy (I.e. pool cabanas, massages). I’m happy just boozing and playing.

So I probably value the wives being Entertained so me and my buddies can gamble lol.

If I can make an attempt at simplifying this... it seems your objective is more "how can I leverage my/my buddies' gambling action using a casino loyalty program to make my wife/buddy's wives happy?", since the needs of you and your buddies are relatively simple.

Assuming that's accurate, I believe this isn't so much a question of casino loyalty programs... but rather a question of non-gambling amenities and corresponding service. Since you mentioned pool cabanas and massages... that will naturally guide your search to a property that has a nice pool (and of course nice pool cabanas) as well as a nice spa with a good array of treatment offerings.

I have a weirdly specific suggestion based on my experience... I think you might want to target your action on Aria, specifically for the Sky Suites. I'm not sure if you already know this, but the Aria Sky Suites are essentially a hotel-within-a-hotel at Aria. What I found most impressive when I stayed there last summer was the service. The staff were extremely attentive and remarkably friendly... and they always emphasized how they offer a "concierge" service to arrange things for you including before you arrive. Through the concierge service, you can arrange anything from cabana bookings, to restaurant reservations, to spa treatments. So instead of having to navigate all of these things yourself, they do it for you.

Of course, a host can do all of these things for you too. I can't speak to experiences with hosts as I'm far too low of a roller for that. But what I can say is that the rave reviews about the service at Aria Sky Suites all say the same thing about the service and how thorough they are... which I believe combined with Aria's amenities (which include a private pool for Sky Suites guests and an AWESOME spa), could make this an ideal destination.

This wouldn't relate so much to the player's club... but I'm making this suggestion because it seems to provide what you want based on the information you provided, with relatively little action needed on your part as a guest.

Reasonable people can differ on this but my short answer to your original question is NO. I say that as someone who is Seven Stars without trying very hard and earned a bit more than 250k tier credits last year, about 90% of that from play in AC.

I am not sure how long your trips are but if at least a week or more you can still do your CET thing for the first few days and take advantage of offers and then I would head over to Wynncore and stay and play there. Your wife will be happy, I can almost guarantee it. And, guessing about your play relative to mine (yours on any given is more than mine but I play a lot consistently over a long, e.g. two week trip), I feel very comfortable saying that you will be very well taken care of at Wynncore, which is my home base.

Wynncore is such an extraordinary place that I would vacation there even if there were no casino on the property. There is no other casino resort in Vegas about which I feel the same way.

Im glad you’ve chimed in about Wynn As I spoke with a host and she’s offered me free room, food and beverage. When you have a moment, will you go into more detail with your experience there? Pool, spa, golf course (which I played last time)? How easy is it to get everything comped (much like I do at Caesars)? And any tips that you can provide. Thanks again!

You indicate that you play in AC. Borgata in AC is an Mlife casino.

Oh, yea, I’m aware. When I do actually go to AC, I stay at Borgata as I like it there. Just haven’t been in quite some time.

Because, when people drink alcohol, they tend to have "loose lips". You never know who's listening to a conversation in a casino. Would you want to LOSE (yes, that's right) LOSE YOUR casino privileges because someone "talked" and was overheard?!?!?

I can't speak to golf as I don't play but though some have said spa charges are harder to get comped and that Wynncore is tighter on comps, I have had just one trip in the past three years where I paid for a spa treatment and for a week+ trip 1000+ in spa/salon charges (not including tips) is not unusual. Every other time it was comped.

Vegas in the past three years has been my primary vacation spot (plus one or two non Vegas trips/I am returning from the Outer Banks as I type!). I have spent a month+ at Encore for each of the past three years with 3 to 5 trips a year, including one two week trip every year (except this one because of Covid) with my mother. Meals at all Wynncore restaurants (so excluding Cipriani and Le Cave), spa treatments, salon treatments, scooter rental for my mom, Wynncore show tickets, cabana or umbrella rentals, and admission (just once to check it out) to their main club XS, have been comped. I don't get comped airfare from Wynn though you might in the future, but for my big August trip I double booked Flamingo for the Seven Stars event and am making it my Seven Stars annual trip so my airfare is covered. Each trip I get a base level of free play.

With your play there would be neat promotions that you would likely be eligible for in the future and that might make you want to make quick trips in addition to your annual one. :) I can't say enough about Wynncore and I like CET; I am not a hater. Each trip I will give some play there and will play with VMB friends or check out a concert or Diamond Lounge. I am very nostalgic about Vegas and will always have a thing for Flamingo as that was the first place I stayed 30 years ago when it was the Flamingo Hilton and I have many great memories of staying at Caesars many times, Bally's, Paris and Harrah's.

But IMO there's no comparison between CET and Wynncore with respect to the base level of service for ALL customers, let alone for major players.
