I Agree with everyone, good advice! (And I think a lot of us on the board practice at home before the trip!:drunk:)
Also pick a liquor/ beer/wine and stick with it . Switching liquors makes me feel worse the next day.

If you want to raise your tolerance level then eat something to slow down the absorption in your stomach. Something like a bread. Milk works well to coat the stomach lining.

If you want to avoid getting a headache while drinking...don’t mix liquor/beer/wine.

Hangover cure is simple as having a drink in the morning. One only.

Welcome to the board and have a great trip!!!

Ever since I hit the early 50s, it seems like I never get true hangovers anymore. Sometimes after a night out I'll feel blaaahh in the morning, but seldom if ever the head-pounding wish-you-were-dead-so-it-would-be-over type thing.

Even on my worst drinking night of the last several years (written up in a TR here, seeking it shall be an exercise for the student) I had much too much but woke up and came back to life without much of a problem.

It may be that I've grown accustomed to drinking more water, particularly when out drinking.

Yes, keep your eye on your drink and don't accept a drink unless you see the bartender make it and hand it directly to you. Rule I learned wayyyy back and never been a victim of the Mickey.

Uh, if you're out drinking, this kinda comes naturally. :)

Lots of great advice and info here. I've actually been drugged once...luckily for me I was not alone and knew something was not right and was gotten out of there quickly. I passed out and woke up the next day feeling HORRIBLE. Worst feeling ever.

I learned this from a waitress when I was in Punta Cana .... next morning mix pepsi and black coffee (about 2 oz each) and drink it down - works like a charm.

From you other posts you are going solo, so my advice is to plan accordingly and opt to drink less and save a post like this for your no solo trips. ;)
With that said I have some ideas.
Obvious and what others said...drink plenty of water.
Take some Tums before going to bed to reduce some acid.
    Black coffee in the morning.
A warm Coke in the morning for an upset stomach.
If all else fails, hit up Reviv @ MGM.
    Best of luck.

I have done the warm Coke for upset stomach and black coffee for the hangover but never mixed the two.
Must they be mixed or can you drink them concurrently?

I do not drink alcohol but...
I once watched someone eat a whole stick of butter before a night of heavy drinking.

This does work, as does a teaspoon of vegetable oil. Again, it coats the stomach. Slowing down the absorption rate.

With the butter and the oil this may be a case of the cure being worse than the sickness. I do not think I could stomach that. :yuck:

I’m a huge drip drop fan. It not only helps keep you hydrated, it has been great to keep the night leg cramps away after doing more walking than usual.

I try to avoid drinking too much, I do not like the feeling of being drunk. I find it embarrassing. I enjoy a happy buzz. I drink all day in Vegas but as soon as I start to get the buzz feeling I back off and drink water until to goes away. Then I rev up again. The goal is a happy buzz all day.

I did overdo it unintentionally at Chandelier one afternoon. Classic mistake of forgetting lunch. I was having fun chatting with the staff while playing VP. Those little pieces of paper just kept popping out. A bunch of lemon drops later I stood up and became quite disoriented with all the crystals every where I looked. I was mortified. I tried to walk as straight as I could back to aria. Longest walk ever. Of course I had a corner suite so had to walk the hallway from hell. I felt like a pinball bouncing off the walls the entire way. Those curvy halls are tough. I did have some drip drop. I woke up the next day with a slight headache but the worst is the loss of energy. There is so much fun to be had I hate to spend a day not wanting to go far. Never again!

Hope you are able to have an enjoyable, safe and hangover free trip.

    EEEEEeeeeeeewwwwwww!!!!!

Sounds about as disgusting as that "deep fried butter" carnival food.

More like it, but you could get that with a salad at dinner.
