To the best of my knowledge it's $10 for non-hotel guests to access the pool. In virtually all cases of which I'm aware, daybed/cabana guests do not need to pay an admission in addition to the rental/F&B minimum they're already paying for their space.

I stayed at the Plaza.. guess it was 2 years ago now. The pool situation was a surprisingly awesome use of the space they had.

I don't normally think of much of the downtown properties insofar as pools go. But I definitely had respect for what they did. It was a "work-from-hotel" trip for me and I more than happily spent most of my working time by the pool.

I didn't do a cabana, nor did I feel like I needed one. It wasn't really pool season and there were only a few folks up there with me at any given time. But I did want to say that it was a nice space worth checking out if you're there.

here's an email I just received from Plaza:

Thank you for your interest in reserving a cabana at the Plaza Pool. We do have cabana availability on Monday, June 8th.

Each cabana accommodates 6 guests and is equipped with a flat screen TV, furnishings, 2 lounge chairs, and refrigerator. Cabana Hours 10am-6pm.

While we adjust to the new normal all beverage service will be directly from The Pool Bar. The Plaza Food Truck will not be open at this time. You are welcome to bring up food from the restaurants in the Plaza Food Court and Pop Up Pizza. These adjustments to our typical cabana service are subject to change throughout the month of June & July.

Weekday Rates: $50.00 Beverage Minimum + 21% service charge and applicable sales tax.

I emailed a reservation request to Plaza waiting to hear back. I saw this response in the FAQ section to What do you get with a cabana rental:
"Cabana reservations are currently closed for winter season. Each cabana accommodates 6 guests and is equipped with a flat-screen TV, furnishings, 2 lounge chairs, refrigerator, and digital safe. Daily rental includes 6 bottles of waters, fresh fruit, frozen grapes, towels, and a cocktail server. Cabana Hours 10am-6pm. The cost of the cabanas is as follows: Weekdays-$50 rental with a $100 Food and Beverage minimum. Weekends- $50 rental with a $200 Food and Beverage minimum. Holidays/ Special Events- $50 rental with a $200 Food and Beverage minimum. We also sell Day Beds. Beds accommodate up to 4 guests. Daily rental includes 4 bottles of water, towels, umbrella and cocktail server. The cost of the daybeds is as follows: Weekdays- $25 rental with a $50 Food and Beverage minimum. Weekends- $25 rental with a $100 Food and Beverage minimum. Holidays- $50 rental with a $150 Food and Beverage minimum."

Did they lower the cost this year?

I wanted to give an update, I talked to the Plaza, we have a large group so we are able to get 2 cabanas they are only charging us 1 $50 rental fee for both cabanas and $300 f&b which is easy with our big group. I also located a food and drink menu.
