    Hi.....

I've been looking for some sort of idiot's guide (the idiot being me :goofy:) to redeeming the MyVegas LPs. I consider myself otherwise smart, but the fine print is still a little confusing. Does such a thing exist?

I'm starting my shopping now, I'd like to do a trip with my wife next spring. Am I right in understanding that -

    1) I can't redeem more than three premium awards in 30 days, correct?

    2) For a really good award, like a 3 night stay somewhere, I just need to log on a few times a day and hope to snag it correct?

    3. Aren't most of the food awards NOT premium?

My goal is to get find a three night award (I know they've existed in the past, I once saw one at the Mirage) and then pay for one night. Use a few points for a bogo on a show, maybe get a few buffets (post covid) and then on my Binion's and 4Queens app (another section of the board I realize) use my points for $100 at each of their steakhouses.

That seems do-able, but this fine print is driving me crazy.

Next spring???? WWWWAAAAYYYY to early. Wait until December to start shopping. The entire rewards landscape may change by then.

It depends on your "lifetime spend" as to whether or not you will even "see" 3 night awards.

Food rewards depend on whether they are "free" or BOGO. Many of the totally free food rewards are premium. Most (if not all) BOGOs are not.

    Hope that helps.

There are also seasonal 3 night stay rewards but @WolfpackRobNC don't hedge your bets on 3 night stay rewards. You should be seeing 1 night rewards only since you can redeem 3 premium rewards max at the moment. If you spend 50$ (estimated according to many people including me) in chips you can unlock 4 premium rewards per 30 days and that also unlocks some 2 night rewards.

    1. You can redeem more than 3 premium rewards if you buy more chips (50$ unlocks 4 premium per 30 days)

    2. This is false and 3 night stays have nothing to do with refreshing and stalking rewards. See above posts.

    3. Premium rewards are considered premium because there is no upfront charge to them. So think of premium as rewards that are 100% free (excluding resort fees because you know... Vegas greed.)
So buy on get one free buffets = not premium.
    Completely free buffets = premium

I’m sure that in the course of my playing, I’ve spent more than $50. Right now today for example, I absolutely see the two night awards at Bellagio for 250k LPs.

Just to spit this back and be sure I understand.....the “better” hotel awards aren’t a matter of scarcity and snapping them up, but rather availability based on my play and chips purchased. Correct?

It sounds like I just need to keep playing for a bit and buy a few more chips regularly so that in the late fall, I’ll have a better shot to access what I want.

Yes the 3 night stay rewards might be available to some people with hosts on MyVegas. And 3 night hotel stay rewards also come out seasonally every once in a blue moon.

I have spent more than 400$ on myvegas and now can redeem 5 premium rewards but don't see 3 nights so I wouldn't go out of my way to get those.

You can find how many premium rewards you can redeem by going to your MyKonami. Clicking terms of a reward and reading the description of how many premium rewards you may redeem

If you are seeing the 2-night Bellagio reward, you should almost certainly have spent enough to have 4 premium rewards. I got my 4th reward after spending about $50, and so have many many other people reporting on this board. I still don’t have the 2-night Bellagio reward, and I believe you need to spend something like $125 to get it. Any three-night rewards that might exists are temporary special promotion that I don’t believe depend on spending level.

I have almost 10 million LPs myself and I have no idea how I will ever spend it.

I have spent under $100; I have been on MyVegas since about 6 mos. after it started. I can get 4 MGM rewards.
I had only spent $58 (had the 4) but when the NCL cruises came out I got on a mission to rack coins & bought $3, $5, $9 here & there over a few weeks.
Was holding out for new cruises after spring...and then...coronovirus:thumbsdown:
    SO nearly 3M coins...gees.
Well, we are HOPING to hit Vegas in a couple weeks so booked the 2 nts at Bellagio--haven't seen that in years.
If casinos don't open June 4 or their cases keep rising, we also have a July trip planned; they are a lot nicer about changing MyVegas rooms right now. (I already had to change as I accidentally booked too early)

I snagged a free wax museum entry (trying to find non-gambling things to do...) & NYNY Times square for this trip (since will actually be at MLife hotel)
I snagged a free Strip copter flight for July since DH isn't interested & DM, DD & DS are coming in July.
Will probably just get My Konami freeplays for my other premium rewards since the other freeplays require a paid MLife visit. (and we are comped at CET)

I think this IS the case. Rewards like free show tickets are definitely scarce and need to be snapped up quickly after being made available. Because your trip isn't until spring 2021, though, you'll need to wait until it's closer to begin trying to get the rewards.
