I wrote this before.....and I'll say it again.
    I like the guy......but......
THEE WORST Christmas CD of all time......is......
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    Neil Diamond !?!?!
    .
He can't sing ANY of these traditional Christmas songs -
Can;t even TALK his way thru
To the point where all his " Yes ! Men " must have heard how bad this was...
and just said " It's great, Neil !"
I have listened to hundreds of Christmas CD's........listen to it......but don't BUY it !
    And I like the guy.

    FYI
Tom Waits wrote one of Springsteen's early MOST LIKED anthems -
    " Jersey Girl "
.......and both versions are nice in there very different arrangements.
But I do like Waits version better cos it's less " manipulative ".

    Ohhhhh, just remembered this mega-turkey!

Muskrat Love - Captain and Tennille. This was one where I would immediately change the station or turn it off when it came on, even if it meant getting up and walking across the room.

The entire catalog was shit, but I don't think they qualify as a mega-act, anyway.

He doesn't like the Eagles? He gets three demerits. Everyone likes the Eagles-- except Dan.

Phil Collins after leaving Genesis -- I loathe the song Easy Lover.

The Eagles are almost as overrated as U2 (and that is saying something).

I find the Eagles overplayed and overhyped. I know it's a personal opinion but they get a lot of love for a song that is way too long and not as good as people think it is. Not to mention all their 'final tour' stuff which granted, was not as bad as when KISS would tell people they were done touring after 'this tour' going back to the late 90s.

I think Eagles' B-sides often play better than the Big Name Songs. But we all have our tastes and quirks. It's like my near utter disgust with the Doobs after McDonald showed up. And don't get me going on Billy Joel. Ooh. Coldplay could be the modern master of overhyped. Alan Parsons was great then jumped the pop shark big time. On and on and on.

This is my nickname for the US Men's National Team when they lose to Trinidad and Tobago or Canada. Well, Jozy and the Pussycats.

And they changed the city in that song to match where ever they were playing live that night. In wrestling terms they went for the 'cheap pop' every night.

One song that has clearly been missed is Walk This Way by Run-D.M.C. ft. Aerosmith. Not necessarily because that song was overplayed and overhyped (it was), but rather that it resurrected the (previously iconic) career of Aerosmith. They went from Sweet Emotion and Dream On to glorious "hits" like Love in an Elevator, Cryin', and Dude (Looks Like a Lady). :yuck::vomit:

Shiny, Happy People by REM. To quote Michael Stipe: Singer Michael Stipe said in 2016: "It's a fruity pop song written for children ... If there was one song that was sent into outer space to represent R.E.M. for the rest of time, I would not want it to be 'Shiny Happy People'".[2]

Out of Time is really a great album, but that's a must skip every time.

That is probably their worst hit song, but I'm also an idiot that doesn't mind it. Lol
