thats such bullshit. What parent would take their kid to that? Let’s stick with adult experiences huh?
Proof that they really had a $1.99 buffet at Circus Circus in 1982. That's a skinny me in the foreground. I auto leveled the color, much better. Looking North on the strip from the airport. A lot of empty sand. I believe that's the Hacienda first on the left.
@Ten_On_The_End, I ate that $1.99 breakfast that same year, or 1982. Now the I've admitted that, I can finally move on with my life.
Ate the lunch buffet at Circus Circus ONCE in the 80's. WAY too much like the Vegas Vacation buffet with cousin Eddie.
I plugged $1.99 into the inflation calculator from 1982 till 2020. Would cost around $5.29 today. I'm not sure I'd eat at a buffet that costs 5 bucks nowadays. Adding a shout out to @dmr for the advice on fixing old pics.
wow that jogs a memory. if that was at the MGM I think that I did as well. I remember walking though the Lions mouth and following the yellow brick road.
I remember that too. But the Lion's mouth was closed. You walked through his throat/chest and into the "belly of the beast".
My wife just unearthed this artifact from the ruins of my one visit to the Palace circa 1998. You wouldn't normally expect a comment card to be so well preserved. And if you do, you may ask yourself, "why would anyone save this? " And then you read and understand. Fortunately this has already been translated from what one can only assume was the original Latin.
