To be fair it does state direct trips on the fare card you posted, so stopping anywhere on the way would mean it is no longer a direct trip?

No, but several of them will, and some of them depends who is working. I've had 100% success at heart bar at PHo, Gustavos in Paris, both bars in Ballys casino, a couple at Linq. Caesar's Palace usually will not. The only one there I've ever heard if anyone having success is the one just to the right of the main checkin desk across from the door to main valet, and only sometimes. Some of them, if they swipe your card, may limit them to 2 per day or something like that. I know it usually works at most places in Flamingo too but I rarely hang out there.

Only place I've been told no was at o'sheas, and he still gave me a free frozen Bailey's in a small water cup, but my previous three attempts there I got the full size frozen Bailey's free. I didnt try at Caesar's cause I know they are stingy and I'm always gambling anyway so I just get them from the CWs. They will comp you better stuff on the floor even at CP with diamond or 7 star than the regular folks, at least for now. Sounds like that may change soon, maybe.

Yes, but that only saves you money if you are a solo traveler. If you have family with you, it makes no sense. And frankly, those shuttles take forever to get to your hotel, unless you're lucky enough to be the first person off. When I go solo, I use the Bell share a ride limo, which I almost always get be alone in, for $18.50 one way to PH. Great service there!!

Maybe it's because you live in Southern California, and you can drive there and make sure that you are there by the check in time, but I have been traveling from NYC for over 20 years, and they have never charged me an early check-in fee. Maybe they take pity on me for my long flight, who knows? But when I drive to Atlantic City from NYC, I know the check-in time, so I make sure to get there around that time.

Well first I haven't driven there in years. Second the other people that were with me were just in the reg check in line because they are just gold. This was just before noon and they were told something like 40 bucks before noon and 20 bucks before 2pm. Hey, I'm just reporting what happened.

Was wondering on the comped drinks at a bar showing your Diamond+ card. I wonder if they are less likely to do it like CP because of the L Lounge where the drinks are free?

at paris i played VP(2 years ago) and also had to pay for my drinks anyway(gustavs bar i think) anyhow for low diamonds you have to have 10$ on comps on your card to visit the diamond or now call l lounges.

You got screwed. Or didn't turn your light green.

Bummer about the Ballys hassles @shokhead.

Bally's at the VP bar by the section with various vp banks, keno and near the poker room the bartender specifically told me he will keep comping me since I am Diamond regardless of if the light is green. I asked him even though I was playing enough (1$ denom). He would also comp me Crown Royal Regal Apple which he wouldn't comp to others. Talking about it makes me want to go back lol

Yeah some bars will comp diamond regardless of play. I was just responding to @vegasnut's post of being charged at gustav's even while playing. He got screwed.

I understood. Just wondering why the bartender seemed to brush off his status regardless of the light. Especially when hearing other people praise gustav's.

Hope it doesn't happen again. I never played at gustav's so maybe I will check it out.
