The Four Queens has had my email address for a few years. Even since it offered $10 in slot play for an email. But today I finally received an email from it. See an excerpt below. The communications is not earthshakingly important but the fact that the Four Queens has left 1992 is something I wanted to share.

It only took a shamrock light up necklace to make the giant step!! I too got the email. But a good move anyway.

When the Fitzgerald's Casino was the Four Queens' neighbor I would think it had a monopoly on St. Patrick's Day efforts in Downtown Vegas. But I guess Four Queens finally noticed that its neighbor is now called "The D" and decided to use the new fangled "interweb" to spread the St. Patty's day news.

Of course the email looks like it was designed in 2001 or earlier, but hey it's a start!!

This is a milestone in the history of Nevada casino marketing! Someone at the Four Queens probably is getting a big promotion for implementing this! They hired someone who knows how to create an email distribution list?

But, wouldn't you think a picture of the necklace being given in the promotion would be a good thing to have in the email? I know, I know! You can't have everything!

I have yet to receive this, despite getting $10 in freeplay a year or so ago for giving them my email address, plus a Four Queens jacket, for giving them the same email address about 4 years earlier!

@zignerlv maybe you should check your fax machine for Four Queens marketing communications.

If it’s any coincidence, the Four Queens had computer system failure that’s still being addressed as of this posting. When I arrived here from another property, the slot club could not access accounts. You could play and receive tickets for a while, but that soon degenerated into waiting for a hand pay when you pressed the cash out button. Early check in to the hotel didn’t happen either, so the 4Q was faced with a nearly empty casino and lots of inconvenienced guests. I went next door to play at the D and eat at Andiamo’s, and just settled into my room. This will be a trip to remember!

Obviously, the failures in the casino systems are due to the strain on their network from sending out all those fancy emails!

Yep. Probably caused their phone line modem to hiccup.

I have been getting monthly e-mail updates from the 4Q & Binions for some time, I'm guessing at least a year and maybe more.

The Queens has some odd marketing for sure. I signed up for a players card in 2012. They got my address wrong, so I never got any mailers from them. I fixed that about 5 years ago, and they sent me ONE postcard. Then in March of 2018 I started getting a monthly emailed "newsletter". I got those until December 2018 when those stopped as just as mysteriously as they had started.

Truly amazing that in 2020 they don't have online access to see offers etc.

I was there this afternoon. Almost all the machines at both the Four Queens and Binion's were out of service.
