My favorites are Bally's and Caesars. Of the hotels I've stayed at that are in your category, I enjoyed Palazzo because the room was so nice and the variety of dining.

Venetian/Palazzo followed by Cosmo. Whenever I'm offered free rooms I stay there...currently about once every 8 years. In the meantime I stay at other establishments that offer me free rooms. I find it funny that I can easily lose $5000 on a trip, and yet I can't even score a couple of free nights at these places.

For me mid strip is my favorite location and for that I will say Cosmo and Aria for all encompassing (location, room, view, restaurants, gaming). But if I want to go on the cheap, I oddly love Park. I think it's because of the openness of parts of the property that gives me a feeling of a "brighter" casino floor. The rooms are ok for what they are (cheap and cheerful). Although, I've never stayed at Wynncore it's one of the properties I want to try as the evenings are kind of electric there. I can only imagine going to a beautiful room takes it up a notch.

If you’re losing 5k during a trip, I would much rather single out the place that I enjoy the most.....but that’s me....

I really like Park after my stay at Nomad in Dec. and have the longest leg of my trip at Nomad this summer.

I like the casino layout. Starbucks at the elevators is a bonus, especially one with enough room for me to drive in-out. Lots of good food options, and easy access to the rest of the strip.

All the places I have stayed at were my favorite while I was staying there but I always look at NYNY as my home base. I love that corner of the strip and I love the vibe of the place.

If someone said "pick a room, any room" I'd be at the Bellagio.

I'm a fan of the location, the rooms, the casino layout, the restaurants, the shopping, and especially the Cypress pool.

+1 on Cromwell. I'm not at all interested in spending a huge percentage of my time in Vegas in the hotel where I'm staying, and nowhere else is even close in terms of quickly getting me from my room to the Strip. And I love the location, as I tend to spend some time in Paris, Bellagio and Harrah's over the course of my trip. Plus, the Cromwell is a great property to come home to. Really enjoy the quiet casino during the day and the insane club crowd people watching late night.

    1. Caesar's Palace - Augustus tower rooms right by side exit to Flamingo Rd/ LV Blvd. The spa tubs in their Augustus, Octavius, and Palace towers are my favorite. Me and my SO always get those bath bombs and hit the jets on the tub. Augustus/ some Octavius rooms have Bellagio fountain views.
    2. Wynn - 2nd because rooms are similarly sized to my Caesars room albeit Wynn is classier. No spa tub which is a favorite amenity of me and the S.O. Floor to ceiling windows give a great view to drink and relax from the bed.
    3. Vdara - All rooms are suites. Atmosphere is relaxed. There is a shortcut that takes you to the Cosmopolitan from the Vdara valet area to the left.

Cosmo. Hands down. Excellent rooms, excellent food, good casino, nice pools. Would stay there every trip if we could afford it.

I forgot how good the food is at Cosmo. I miss their kitchenette though (casualty of the renovations.

I would add Cosmo at my #2 along with Wynn simply for location, food, rooms. Hattie B's my favorite place to eat.

Best scenario for me is to split 3 nights Cosmo/Bellagio.

Cosmo for a ‚modern‘ vibe with unbeaten balcony fountain view and Bellagio for a ‚classic‘ Vegas experience - which fountain view is superior is probably just personal taste.

Aria, love the rooms, casino and dining options.
Vdara because it's a quick walk to Aria.

My favorite place to stay was Stardust.
My favorite place to stay since Stardust is Bally's.
It's home for me which is why i booked Bally's once again for July.
My favorite place to gamble is still on the same property at Paris.

I love everything about the Cosmo. Food, rooms, drinks, views, uh more food, all the food, and all the purple (it's my favorite color!)! :woohoo:

Back when I only visited Vegas to play specific slots, Hooter's gaming floor and Casino Royale were my favorites because they had my favorite game, Sex and The City Platinum. I have since learned to not center trips around a particular slot machine, because one day you'll wake up and it'll be gone, which is why Cosmo is the everything-under-one-roof place for me :jester:

Mirage. Not because of any one particular thing but because of the combination of things.

    - Location
    - Pool
    - Tropical theme
    - Still has that 90s Vegas feel
    - Not YET run down or overly showing age
    - Was featured in Vegas Vacation

I wouldn't ever come out and say it that does any one particular thing "best" but it hits all my key points.
