Hello Everyone!

Just back from a short 5 night Las Vegas Trip from the UK. My annual Solo trip!
I usually try and do these live but this trip seemed to go so fast, I’ve decided to start this TR once I returned home.
I’m sticking to the same format I usually use, not a lot of words, a few photos and the Vlog links, I hope you enjoy!!!

Travel Day

I started the trip in Glasgow and I decided to combine my Tier Point/ Mileage Run for Airline status with a trip to Las Vegas via Miami, I bought a business class ticket, which meant I was spending 90% of my bankroll on my flight........what could go wrong .....I’ll be fine with 10% of my bankroll right?!?!

Before the trip started, I decided to see if I could super low Roll one day of the trip, in my mind, if I spent less on future trips, I could take more trips per year lol


ON A BUDGET IN LAS VEGAS!!! - (February 2020 Las Vegas Vlogs)

 

I just saw your last video and great job sticking w budget ..... truly VEGAS can be “budget friendly” if you try when we first started to go Vegas (back in the days lol) wife and I used to score $30 room w Bally’s etc and used get $2.99 for breakfast ..two for one for shows and dinner etc. and we still had great time !!! Glad you are back safe at home!!! How was your experience w Vadra overall? We never stayed there...always went w aria instead.

 

Oh what fun!! I have been off the boards for an entire week during my cruise. Gonna pour a cup of coffee and start watching!!

Loving your TR. Well done on the hundy budget for the day. Your travel certainly makes our single 4 hour flight pale in comparison. Looking forward to the next VLOG.

Your trip looks great thus far. How did you find Vdara? Would you stay there again with the family? I'm heading to Vegas for my yearly solo trip over Easter, can't believe I didn't realize I'd be gone for Easter, but I guess the family will be ok ;-), Happy you arrived home safe and sound. Looking forward to more pictures and vlogs.

Vdara - The Service was great, everyone from Front Desk, Room Service, Housekeeping everyone was pleasant. I do give my opinions in a future Vlog, basically I enjoyed it but the bed was very uncomfortable for me, and I felt the rooms maybe need an update, I also don't like the toilet being in the bathroom not separated by a door , but that's not too much of a issue because I was solo, also I left my MacBook Charger in the kitchen, I contacted Vdara and Lost & Found said it wasn't handed in, which is a shame considering I can see it in a video clip on my leaving the suite, lying on the floor in the kitchen.

. Thank you I'm probably not going to return to Vdara, it wasn't bad but it just wasn't fantastic!! I found the bed very uncomfortable and explained a couple of things in a earlier post to Drewm1972 that I'll cover in the Vlogs that probably put me off a future stay, I do (in my mind) compare it to the corner suite at Aria which is they same room type I can get comped, and I think Aria is more for me. Have a Fabulous Easter Trip!!
