I am Mlife platinum and was wondering if Ceasars is still offering Tier match for 2020.

I can't find any mention of it on the web, but would love to take advantage of it when it's available.

Based on what I remember, the timing of when you do it is important based on your visits.

Thankfully tier matching at Caesars is over with at least for now.

Thank you for contacting Caesars Palace. We appreciate your interest in our promotions. We are planning on offering a different Tier match promotion for 2020. However, details have not been finalized at this time.

Tier matching was from Feb - Dec last year. You will have to wait until they make an announcement for Feb of this year what if anything they will do.

Hopefully whatever they come out with will be restructured. No need to give away their best perks such as the celebration dinner no resort fees and monthly show tickets. Bet the farm the majority all those people who tier matched last year did it solely for the freebies and if those premium perks weren't included in that tier matchm they wouldn't have even bothered.

Not sure why they will do it. Does any other casino company do this?

I was told by a CR employee recently (take that with a huge grain of salt) that they would be cutting back on tier matching programs and also cutting out their relationship with FoundersCard in the near future.

Shit, it worked for me. Mlife was cutting back way too much. I couldn't even get free or reduced prices for f&f rooms. Or I would at least give them the Platinum 30% off. Now it's 10% across the board.
I tier-matched to Diamond. Gave them a play-no-stay after I matched with them and got approached. I fully converted as of this year. If they fail, off to Cosmo or something.

I guess I'm going to have to play chicken.
Somehow caught Boyd Emerald (there were mysterious booster points involved),
If I understand it correctly I could match in Jan, but it will only last till end Jan.
We don't know what they'll drop in Feb, but if it was like last year, it would be for the year..
The bluff is it won't happen and I need to earn it now.
Thought I'd take up some of these daily spam email offers if I didn't catch a resort fee (that's all I want from the match),
but I'd probably end up playing downtown anyways...

If I want a nice strip room, Cosmo gets the play.
Also, probably will push for Circa comps last half this year.

You can't match in Jan. The match was only from Feb - Dec 2019. Also if you did match for the current year ending Jan 31,2020, under the previous rules it would disqualify you from matching again for the next year.

Celebration dinner is great, but it is $100 towards an already overpriced meal, right? So in reality, not really costing them much. With the exception of a show or two, the tickets are simply "fill the seats" to shows that won't fill on their own. High Roller tix you can get anytimes for $20 at Harrah's box office. That leaves no resort fee as a true premium perk. Now what does that really cost them, considering the return on "investment" for the customer? A little lost revenue I'm sure is made up unless you don't spend a dime in the property.

Now let's quickly explore that last sentence. UNLESS you are a current player with a decent enough ADT you won't get comp rooms. So you'll have to pay for rooms, right? Now, theoretically, are you getting more from a low-play, matched Diamond, or more?

After a no-stay couple hours slots this summer I'm comped weeknights at everywhere apart from Caesars/Cromwell.

Probably going to spend a week at Paris in the summer, just to tick it off my list, as I do like the property.

Be nice if they do the match with MLife gold, but I'll probably stay there anyway, unless I can get cosmo for the same price :)

Gee the way you downplay these perks makes it sound like Diamond isn't even worth earning for those of us who stay and gamble at Caesars. How many people from MGM did the match solely for the purpose of the freebies and didn't gamble a dime or spend the night in a Caesars property? Bet the farm the majority of them did and also bet the farm had those perks such as the diamond celebration dinner and free monthly show tickets not been offered, they wouldn't have even done the tier match. All those who did the tier match are more than likely getting comped rooms elsewhere so what makes you think they have any desire stay at a Caesars property? Believe me it's a small minority especially when you have people on forums like this bragging how they just did it to suck all the freebies. If this is such a great marketing strategy why aren't properties such as MGM the Cosmopolitan and Wynn doing it?

Cosmo has tier matched in the past. So has MGM in Vegas (they almost always do outside of Vegas). Couple of things. Cosmo doesn't have the room inventory of CET, thus no need to lure folks in. NEITHER have any worthwhile, standard perks with their equivalent statuses to make it attractive, so really, what's the point?

I'm not saying folks don't take advantage, but how does that affect you, especially the dinner, parking, and resort fees? They don't, yet here you are, year round, acting like tier matched/FC/Quest and poker promo-created Diamonds ruin your life. And the number of people who can actually take advantage is probably low. Other than Vegas locals, how often can you take advantage? AC locals don't get show tix. Bottom line is THEY offer these to players, so why do you care? I got free refills at Starbucks, which take a good bit of spending to earn. My old job gifted everyone gold stars, so now everyone got those perks. Ask me if I cared.

Better to fish in a pond that you know is filled they the profiles you're looking for than fish blindly. Google ads makes zillions of dollars on that principle.

Yes many of the people will only use the perks, but I'm guessing it's a much smaller percentage than you think that they need to turn into CET players for the promo to pay off.

I personally have been Mlife for 4-5 years now. I usually play lighter or not at all in a non-mlife casino because I have too much equity put into building up my status. CET gambling feels like a waste. However, if they let me start at Gold or higher, I just might end up throwing more money their way. All it's going to cost them is parking.

And if someone is a Diamond level gambler somewhere else, they'll throw free show tickets or some food at as many as they can. If 20% of them turn into Diamond level gamblers at CET, they'll be overjoyed.

BTW - this site doesn't represent the general public. Most people aren't looking for angles the way most here are :)

Exactly. These anti-"fake VIP" posts don't care about what you or I said. OBVIOUSLY it's paying off in some way or another or they would have ended all of it a LONG time ago. While we may know the "game" of getting around tier match restrictions, you think the majority know that? Heck, I know long term Diamonds who've NEVER been in a lounge or seen a show in Vegas. In the everyday, real life of casino visits NO ONE cares how the person next to them got their status. Well, except those barking about it on forums and social media.

Has anyone heard anything regarding whether or not Caesars Rewards will be matching to Diamond from other rewards programs in 2020?

Nope. I believe that we're all waiting patiently. My FoundersCard Diamond expires this week and I am hoping to drop them in favor of the match from Wyndham Diamond.

Last year's cards expire January 31st. I wouldn't expect any announcements until after that date.(if there are any)
