Hmm.. how long are the queues on Thanksgiving? Bad I guess but worth waiting for? Never tried a buffet when I’m Vegas for that holiday but tempting..

Extremely long. The staff monitor the line and set up a queue that can wrap around and down the length of the corridor where the buffet is located.
Many Las Vegas locals bring their families to casino buffets for Thanksgiving and Christmas and Wynn is one of the most popular.
Expect to wait in line at least an hour. I love Wynn buffet but it's not worth it to me to wait that long and then find multiple people at the food stations all trying to get to dishes and moving around each other on a holiday. Many others may see it differently.

I’ll go with not worth it either. Just booked for Saturday the 30th of November instead. Thank you, have never tried the Wynn Buffet before but have heard good things.

Are the lines always long? Even not in the weekend?

No. Last time I was there a couple of months ago -and it was a Saturday - there were no lines at all. I was surprised.

Conversely, I've been at Wynn over Christmas a few times, and the Buffet line for Christmas Day lunch is obscene. Walk past it on the way to the Country Club and the same people are still in line on the way back after we've had a leisurely lunch. Not a great way to spend Christmas Day imo.

How are the lines on Black Friday? Is it about the same as Thanksgiving?

Forgot to mention that if you're staying in a Wynn Tower Suite you can bypass the line to the shorter queue with your room key card.

For people who have been here regularly, is there a particular time to go to this buffet when the lines are usually very short (assuming no holiday or special event)?

Mid-week is pretty good for the line not being too long.
    Mon-Thurs.
It's worth it to try out their offerings, for sure. I love the shrimp, carved meats/cheeses, salad and soup offerings.
Really not worth it for expected holidays and events as far as valuable time spent in Vegas goes.

had the dinner and show package so used a line pass...still a bit of a wait.

buffet itself? ok but I wouldn't line up for an hour for it.

Prices at buffets are also typically jacked up on big holidays...

Think the lines will be crazy on MLK day dinner? I figure maybe not seeing as lot of people doing long weekend will leave in the AM?

Last time I went to the buffet, it was lunchtime. There was a fee that was an option that would allow you to skip the standard line and be "expedited" into the restaurant. Is seems like it was an add-on of around 9.99, if I am remembering correctly, and I was only in line at that point about 10 minutes. That was verses the 45 min. - 1 hour wait time that they were quoting for the standard line. I felt like it was worth it not to waste time in the "economy class" line.

I was at the Wynn buffet on Sunday night at 7 p.m.

It took just over 2 hours to get into the buffet. Would I do it again? If I could pay $10 for a line pass, yes i would. The ambiance and food were incredible. It is the best buffet I have ever visited.

We went on Tuesday the 10th and got there a about 20 minutes before change over on a Wynn slot comp and walked right in. About half hour later the line was huge

I went Monday at 245pm waited about 40 minutes. Tried again Wednesday around 4pm for dinner with parents wait was 2 hrs plus so skipped it. Went back after a show 845pm as a solo (had a 2 guest pass so used extra to give a stranger a free buffet) waited about 20 minutes from getting there to be seated. On flip side took parents to Bacchanal tonight paid right away as Diamond but still waited 35-40 minutes to be seated (selfishly was nice to walk past that long line to pay right away).

Any idea what buffet lines are like on Christmas Eve? We are flying home Christmas morning.

After my original question at the start of this thread, I avoided thanksgiving instead opting for the buffet a few days after on the weekend.

We were in the queue for a good hour before being seated. I did put this down to it being a holiday weekend and as we had another Wynn free buffet to use, we returned a few days later for brunch where the wait was a much shorter 10 mins to be seated.

On both occasions the food was really good. I did however prefer the Bacchanal buffet even with paying for it!

I took my daughter for brunch on Black Friday and we waited about 10 minutes. Used a comp I had earned through the Wynn Slots app.

The buffet was good, but the price was jacked up to $50 per person for the holiday.

To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with the food quality or selection. I think the buffet at The Ameristar here in Kansas City is better.

I was there mid-December 2019. No line. Not even one person ahead of me. Still very good, but not the wow experience of three prior visits.

Four visits total. No wait for a Memorial Day dinner, and two other weeknight dinners. 45 minute wait for a weekday brunch.

Had a room package with free buffets Considered prepaying the line pass as I left that breakfast after the long wait - glad I didn't as there was zero wait the next night.
