I wish the multipliers would cooperate on some of these quads!

I love this sign. Manufacturers suggested retail price. It just seems ironic.

Going through TSA they had a dog for bomb ingredients and there was a bit of concern displayed by the couple behind me. its neat though as you don’t have to take your shoes off or raise your hands over your head. :headbang:

But Sunday morning after a Saturday night in vegas I am surprised by the crowds. Looks like spring break type numbers. At 6:55 in the a.m.

And so we end our trip from where it all began.

Refueling on rREAL food after 5 days of pizza, steak, and salads. Had a great at time and thanks if you’ve made it this far. We barely made it and we lived it so it’s understandable if you fell off the rails along the way. How far IS January anyway (easier than who am us anyway?)

Are the FastPark spaces in Austin easy to get in and out of? We used Parking Spot at ABIA last time and did the valet parking. I really like it. Only draw back it was a bear getting back on the access road from the lot due to traffic. We used an off site parking lot in San Antonio once. The spaces were tight and my husband drives a big ass F250. We will probably use Parking Spot again and just take a red eye out of Las Vegas. I don't mind it less traffic but we just have to watch for all the deer.

Thank you for the great trip report!

Every time Chuy’s was mentioned, I think about Chuy’s in Van Horn, Texas.

We went in on Tuesday at noonish and came out Sunday about 1:00. 57$ all in. They have some big ass trucks there too and sometimes they just straddle the line rather than just hang over it. No big deal unless a holiday weekend. This is in Austin however and not San Antonio (are t you close to there? We prefer as Antonio as it is easier to get in and out of the airport screening and all that.
It is the parking on site that is horrendous to locate a spot or so it seems to us. Fastpark also has water for the taking upon exit and the drivers are more accommodating and friendly in our opinion.
And all stalls are covered. No open sky parking.

Thanks for the great report. I’m a big fan of the nickel multiplay; will locate/play at MSS in December.

We are about the same distance from Austin to San Antonio but we like Austin better. It's usually cheaper to fly out of Austin. It is a straight shot down 290/281. Parking at San Antonio is horrible. The airport in San Antonio has been under construction for ever. Last time we flew out of SA was a couple of years ago in July. Parking garage was under construction. We had to walk through a detour outside to get to the terminal. it was closed in and no air or fans. Along the way they had coolers of iced down bottles of water with an apology sign. If we are flying out with our kids we will go to San Antonio - begrudgingly. Austin is far superior - and I say that as a San Antonio native.

I'm at the age where I will pay extra for a little luxury-- Valet parking at Parking Spot we gave them the keys and loaded straight on to the shuttle. They have an app so when you get back you can see where the shuttle is. We had no wait for a shuttle and when we got to the lot the truck was ready and running and cooling off. I paid to have the truck detailed why we were gone. My husband had just gotten out of the hospital in July and this was August so it was a nice treat for him.

@Valgal, my boss drives a big ol Bubba truck and when he and I flew to DC 2 years ago we parked at Fast Park in Austin and he didn’t have any issues. He did park all the way at the end of an aisle just to make sure!

    Happy birthday to me!
Let’s check Garth off my nieces bucket list!
