    @Joe
    You've had some nice wins, are you getting close to being able to claim your losses on your tax return?

    Between property tax and what we give to charity, we have made it last year and now for sure this year. Don’t have the number in front of me but I think MFJ for 2019 is 27,000. I’m now up to $14.000 in W2Gs

    Missed you again. Perhaps just as well. I think that we both prefer machine #1. Wouldn't want to cage match over a machine. This morning I spent a couple hours bravely fighting it to a draw. Congratulations on those jackpots.

    Good grief! Outstanding trip Joe. Well played.
    Plus, as I recall, believe you bought BYD recently. Good earnings even though down after hours. Still, above where you bought in. Wish I had followed you in.
    Was wondering if the new machines have same payscale as others? Almost jumped in on one last month, but the look of the cards was too much for me as I was drinking and would have definitely made some mistakes. Didn't have time to look over the pays as I had to grab a lone open machine a few seats down.

    The DDB was 8/6 and according to @tringlomane that is the tiniest bit better than 9/5. I forget the exact %, but something like .01. Being the highly educated gambler I am, I was playing TDB and have no idea if that was a good paytable. :D

    Bought Boyd at $22.43. Closed yesterday at $26.16.

    Hmmm... may want to check again next time. As @Yokel says, VPFree2 reports that its 9/6 DDB at all 3 downtown casinos and Gold Coast on the Aristocrat bartops for dollars+. And the Wizard of Odds independently verified Fremont at least. I think Boyd probably ordered all of them to be set the same, fwiw.

    Also, did you even notice drink metering at Boars Head? Light system? I doubt you were hassled over a drink regardless. Lol

    I did not notice it. I have never seen one in operation, but I did read that the light or whatever it is, faces the bartender?? Maybe the customer doesn't see it?

    Yeah it's usually on the back of the machine. Sometimes you can see the meters on other units if you look at an angle.

    What a great trip!

    Belated happy anniversary to you and your lovely wife.
    We were at MSS on Saturday. I would have looked you up to say hello if I’d realised you were there. I event thought of you when we walked past Boars head bar on the way back to the bus stop.
