This is my favorite trip of the year. I have been going for the last 10 years and it is always a solo trip because I tend to spend a lot of time at the sportsbook and people I go with often get impatient. I have airfare booked, hotels booked (Friday and Sat comped at Excalibur and Sunday - Wednesday comped at Orleans). I have made some friends that drive in from California every year and the Super Bowl party at the Orleans is a great time to meet up with them and then spend a few days hiking through Red Rock Canyon or taking a day trip to Laughlin. It is also nice break from the upstate NY winter

4th year got a gaming offer at MGM Grand over the weekend with a good amount of FP so I've booked it now. If I get a party invite I might reconsider and go with CET.

Possibly my favourite weekend of the year and I hope I'm still going in 15-20 years

@Blue pacific thx for the tips.. my budget is around those numbers around 1k per day.. if I score some tix on the strip great.. if not i'll try downtown... worst case i'll find some paid party.. it is highly dependable on who's playing.. unfortunately my Boyz are seeing weaker every week.. :/

I’ll be at the Orlean’s for the Super Bowl. Staying at the Four Queens 1/29, California 1/30-2/1, and Orlean’s 2/1-2/4. This will be my first trip in 5 years. Hoping things haven’t changed too much! It looks like most of my favorite STP machines have been downgraded. The research to find the video poker machines I’ll be playing starts now!

With three trips planned for next year already (Reno in May, Vegas in June, and a DC/Vegas combo trip in October) I was going to try to pass on a trip to Vegas for the Super Bowl.

But I couldn't do it!!! Booked it tonight. Flying in Sunday morning, arriving at 9:30 AM. Going home Tuesday afternoon.

Got the return flight on Frontier for $48...

We will be going Friday 1/31 - Tuesday 2/4. This will be our second year and am hoping for an invite to a Caesars SB party like we had last year. This year we are staying at Harrahs that weekend.

Thanks. The plan right now is that I am going solo, but I have a group of friends that "usually" get invited to a CET party mid-Strip. They said that if they get an invite this year, that they will get me in as a +1 to another solo. However if they don't get an invite - or if enough of their group doesn't get invited - I am sure I will watch the game from SP and will take you up on your offer.

20 Year Anniversary edition this year.

It all started with that horrendous game in Miami between the Falcons & Broncos.

Customary one week (TUE 1/28 - TUE 2/4).

Losing my Downtown Grand virginity for three nights (there's a room type I've been eyeing to stay in for a few years now) and then finishing up at The Signature because it's cheap, it has a kitchen and a balcony to exhale the grass from.

As of today, the Patriots & Saints would be my guess.

I like to go out on a limb, obviously.

I waited for my free flight email from my regional host that comes in about this time of year to get it booked. All set again for another Super Bowl weekend in Vegas. The number of work friends that end up going changes every year. We have a couple of regulars.

Definitely not a 25 or 20 year regulars. Tips hat to you.

This will be the 8th consecutive year.

Question: I'm holding off booking a SB trip in hopes of Caesars sending me a SB party invite. Last year I booked early and then they didn't send one. Previous years I did.
I think I remember the offers come as we hit December. Is that what others remember?

    Thanks!

Added a second comped suite from a family member’s play. Now we have four Tower Suites at Luxor for the 9 of us. Two are 2 bedrooms and are paid reservations...so we can handle downgrades to the comped ones if that were to happen.

    Plan is coming together...

    —Andiamo on Friday night
    —George Strait on Saturday night
—Public House or room party for SB on Sunday

It is a family trip but I leave lots of time for the kids and significant others to so what they please.

I'm thinking of it. I hear it's great, and a couple friends/colleagues have designated parties we can go to. It would be a shorter trip than normal for me. Leave after work on Thursday, Redeye Sunday night - back to work Monday morning. I figure 3 nights is enough.

My cousin and I are staying at Luxor Jan 31-Feb 4. $450 Cdn return with rooms included booked on Expedia. Looking at The Crazy Horse 3 SB Party for $129 US. Anyone been, how was it? I am also down for any meetups or group pulls that may be going on.

So I don't know what is up with CET but for the second year in a row I have not seen the offer. But I did send a email to my host and they will get me in. I have gone for the last 5 years. My sister booked a room a few weeks ago. She did not see or receive the offer either. She gave the Linq a call and they said yes she had the offer and they would add it to her reservation. So maybe a call to them might help. I don't remember when the offer came out in previous years when I did receive it but I am already seeing offers for end of Feb.
