...there are people who finish their business and walk right out without washing their hands.

Literally every time I see at the very least one person do this. Usually more.

    Every.
    Single.
    Time.

    It's disgusting.

Please wash your hands, it only takes a minute.

Not even a minute.... I don't remember where I read this, but supposedly, the sufficient amount of time to wash is accomplished by the time one would finish singing the 'happy birthday' song (silently, of course!)....so, about 20 seconds...add 10 seconds for drying your hands, and you're back to the tables!

I see it every single trip. What really disgusts me is the guys who leave a stall and do nothing about their hands. My wife's big complaint is the women who piss on the toilet seat!

It is disgusting, and it does happen.

I hate touching things in the casino because I can only imagine what's been on the fingers that press the buttons on the machines, or the elevator buttons, or the remote controls in the room. Bleh.

Just don't lick anything - and wash you hands lots.

This. ALL the time. People can be truly disgusting creatures.

On the road yesterday I went into the loo and someone had done a Chernobyl on the joint and walked out of the stall and out the door. I finished up my stand up routine and washed twice simply to combat what he trailed out.

After handling chips in the casino I wash my hands BEFORE I use the restroom.......and then again after I use the restroom as well.

It grosses me out seeing people handle the chips and then eat at the table with their hands.......similar to watching people eat with their hands while bowling.....disgusting.

I've washed before using the washroom too. Some old dude looked at me confused as I did what he thought was backwards.

True, I was going to mention that hands should also be washed before as well.
And I'm also in the same boat in regards to what I witness people do with their hands after playing slots or handling chips, such as eating, or rubbing their face or eyes etc. Eww haha

While in the casino the hardest thing for me is to refrain from rubbing my eyes, nose, and mouth.

Chips, slot buttons, elevator buttons, escalator rails, posts, everything can potentially harbor germs.

We usually carry hand sanitizer but I know I forget I have it most times.

My famous story from the Westgate.

I would disappear on the shuffle.

Philipino Dealer: “Washyour hands- Sir “

Took some balls to say that and she was a she!

A poker dealer I know shared some information about the crap (literal crap) that can be found on chips. Ever play a VP machine with sticky buttons? I shudder to think what is on them. This is why I keep this in my pocket while playing poker or a machine.

As an aside, a science teacher I used to work with had kids brainstorm where the most germ-laden places in the school might be, then he would send them out with petri dishes. The most germ-ridden places were computer keyboards. Toilets and bathroom fixtures like sink handles were way down the line. I'm guessing that was because they were cleaned daily.

First off, my mom taught me how NOT to pee on my hands.

That being said gaming machines are the worst breeding grounds that I wash before I touch my junk, and usually again after.

Honestly, I don't know how some of you folks muster the courage to ever leave the house? Though I do see in another thread that it's National Disease Literacy Month, so I spose this advisory fits right in!

We're two legged pigs that can talk when it all boils down to it.

I owned a restaurant for 6 years, I was responsible for bathroom cleaning duties morning, mid day, and closing.

If you want to get a feel for how disgusting people really are when nobody is looking, clean a public bathroom..
