Wish I could go back in time and just put all my money on the Dolphins under! The trades yesterday and today ... wow. Last spring, I had read multiple local reports that the Dolphins were planning to tank this season and put themselves in position to draft one of the top QBs over the next two seasons. but then when they traded for Rosen at the draft, I started to doubt those reports. Now, what do they have left? Seems like their goal is to get through this season with as many draft picks as possible. Still, at least I got a small wager on the Miami under. Just wish I had trusted my gut earlier this year and made a big bet.

Ha...Holy Moses. Funny you posted this.

Last night I texted my brother (retired Vice out in Vegas) and told him I needed him to whip to the nearest Book for me because it appeared to me the Dolphins were trying to guarantee they would have zero wins this season.

He still hasn't gone to either Red Rock or Orleans to take care of it for me (I never ask him to make bets on my behalf), but he said he could make it tomorrow.

I'm sure it's not 5 /. 5.5 like it was, but I can't imagine Miami will win more than 3 games next year.

Will see what the odds are. I'd use my online college football money (which actually still has Miami @5.5 U -145)...but I'd rather use my brother.

Well that's a lie, lol. I mean, it could work long term. Dallas did it at the start of the Johnson era and my memory is that they won one game that first year. But they played the young guys, dumped the older guys, got assets, drafted more young guys, and went to 8 wins, followed by six or so years of great success. I doubt JJ would ever say they tanked. But they had to know that first year was going to be really difficult (and it was). I don't ever think the coach on game day is going to do anything but try to win. They have designed a team, however, that isn't likely to win. More than three wins this season would be remarkable

Yeah, week one was decent for me. Got four of five results I wanted, including that UT upset. That loss virtually guarantees the UT under. But that Mizzou loss hurt. They were exactly what I expected this season: really good offense and not much defense. Still, I thought they would have enough to beat Wyoming. If they hadn't made a few ridiculously bad plays in the second half, they would have won. Oh well. I really need them to win the next seven because the hardest part of their schedule begins after that.

Clemson is the opposite. I am assuming that the Aggies is their toughest remaining game. If they win that one, I feel good about the undefeated season. I was busy watching UCLA lose, so I didn't catch much of the Clemson game Thursday night. Hope they are looking good.

I was there Thurs night. Was Trevor’s worst game of his career, probably affected by the Heisman pressure. D-line didn’t generate a ton of pass rush but GT didn’t really throw all that much.

Mond played out of his mind last year when we traveled to College Station. Hopefully he’s just back to his normal ‘good’ this weekend...

After two weesk of CFB, I am now 9 and 1 on the outcomes that impact my futures bets. Can't believe BYU pulled that out against UT!

Thank goodness that somebody understands this. This guy will drag the whole team down. He is a locker room cancer. And it just started with the watch controversy. And it's only Week 1.
