Leaving on a jet plane... August 16-20th

Just about done packing while watching Matt Bridger Vlog and unbelievably excited about getting on a jet plane tomorrow heading for Las Vegas! Flying Delta first class from Atlanta.
I’m staying at Aria until the 20th.
Planning more for this trip, as my last trip I just seemed to wander around. Going solo this trip.
I’m trying out the Cosmo for the first time since I’ve heard so many good things about it from so many of you. I’ll gamble some and have a drink at the famous Chandelier Bar. Wanting one of their fancy drinks, but not sure what to order. I don’t like sweet drinks - any suggestions?
Planned a couple of nice dinners at Carbone and LeCirque. Not sure about the pool as the temps have been soooo high!
I plan on playing Blackjack and some slots.
This is my first trip report - probably semi-live as I tend to be lazy.

I'm very interested in your impressions of Cosmo. It is very popular and I always have a good time there (thanks to the lemon drops). The slot selection is great, but it always feels too noisy to me and the machines seem crammed everythwere. Problaby just my old crankyness coming out. I also have only been there at popular times, maybe I should try earlier in the day.

Well, down $800 after a few hours. Tried some high limit slots and didn’t do well - obviously . Just had lunch at Julian Serrano. Absolutely fabulous. Had the mushroom soup, tostada manchega and gambas. Just Wow. One pic I took of the soup.

 

One of my fave restaurants, go every trip! Slow roll for a bit and you’ll make your comeback!
