Almost always $5. You'll find that "pool go'ers" aren't really gamblers, so they keep the minimums low to attract any play. At least, that's what I think.

That's reasonable. I have never tried to access a pool in my previous trips... is there any sort of payment necessary to enter a casino/hotel's pool area?

    CORN: 1 ECVF:0
(it was undercooked off the cobb too, btw)
(all comped, in the running for #1 bakery in Vegas)

Big shout out to pit boss Kevin and @EastCoastVegasFan! 's mouth for being the best comp hustler I've even seen. Will you tell the BJ story? I will just say the plan was to grind the $3 min, show him his first taste of BJ, calm ourselves, have some water, get slightly less "white girl drunk", then gird ourselves to brave the craps table. His last two hands I literally saw in super slow motion as I turned my head, saw his bets, then watched the dealer flip cards. and btw that's probably where you caught your trip -$80

Cutting corn while intoxicated is harder than I thought! Also, that YouTube is so accurate!

I tried that, that corn was as undercooked as the (decent to good) ribs were overcooked. Also, the fact that it was a butter knife did not help.

We walked out of there with 4 Jerry's nugget t-shirts and swag that will eventually be revealed in my trip report.

(also I went all night and was at the D an hour or two before you, trying to max out scraps of D free play into something at the BJ table, unfortunately left my pay 2-1 on first BJ card in the other gaming wallet and ended up with something like $50 out, really could have used you at the craps table for company)

(and I agree with @smerrian , you are a craps socializer v gambler (nothing wrong with that), and need to either press, reverse regress from $12, move payout to 6 or 8, (whichever is not covered), or get paid twice on those 6 & 8 bets before pulling them down, they are the easiest points to hit)

The eclair was the best, I essentially stole it from P (let her know I owe her a dessert next time)! :)

    Also, I was two seconds
From joining you at the D.

One other highlight. @AyDee and his 47 pockets, eventually finding what he needs on the very last pocket, every single time!

:nono: Kids having fun in the summer by the pool. I don't see anything wrong with that. Kids being kids.

Love the TR format with pics and details. Well done. Maybe it's the crow in me but those pink shiny craps tables at Flammy pool look awesome. I have walked by that little table 100 times but never bothered to look at it.

Maybe...just maybe I will play there in September.

I don't have an issue with it, as long as their parents don't have an issue with me adulting right in front of them. I'm not changing my behavior because parents decided to bring their kids.

Really interested in the Blu Pool. I'll probably head there early in the day like you did, and it will be during the week. It looks pretty calm there. And I like big deep pools because I like to actually swim not stand around drinking and partying. Staying at Harrah's again, but found out last time that Harrah's pool isn't for me. I know that the chairs right by the Blu pool cost $15 to rent but are there close enough chairs on non-busy days that you really don't have to do that unless you want to sit right next to the pool of course? Also worried about taking a bunch of stuff like cell phones there but if we are within eyesight of our chairs while we are in the pool I'll feel better. I'm assuming there aren't lockers?

Gino, I think plenty of people will disagree on that statement. But you are entitled to your opinion. There are plenty of fun stuff for kids to do in Vegas. Every single time I brought kids to Vegas, they enjoyed it and want to keep coming back. We enjoy the pool, rent a car and visit nice places and see fun family shows.

Dan, from everything you’re saying, the Bally’s pool seems to be for you.
