I had one of my favorite Vegas meals at Mortorano's a cpl years back, crab and scallops on bed of risoto(?). Glad you enjoyed your meal. Too many pillows, too many bubbles, what's next? Win too much money! Let's hope so. Keep it coming.

 

I don’t learn. Went back to Free Bet. Was positively KILLING it, getting some green chip bets in, even with just a $20 buy in. I’m positive I cleared $100 at some point.

Now back to my suite to get showered and dressed, and then off to NYNY for a bite to eat and then Zumanity!

 

Did you get any comments or looks from playing in your bathrobe ?

 

Some looks, yeah. One dealer said he may have to check with the pit but then decided it was fine.

It’s unusual, sure. But it’s vegas. People have done much stranger things.

Hope you enjoy Zumanity! I saw it in April, and thought it was funny, very different. Seems people either love it or hate it.

 

Really interested in NFC review... I thought is was fine, but it is a mediocre adult show and a mediocre Cirque show rolled into one... can see a lot of reasons to be disappointed, also see how people can like it (especially if this is their first cirque show)

I’d be generous in giving Zumanity an “ehh” rating. The acrobatics/showmanship was very impressive. The audience involvement was fun.

But I couldn’t really get “into” the show. The humour and themes were very crude and lacked character/wit. After about thirty minutes, pretty much every aspect of the show was predictable and that dissolved my interest.

I had fixed my legs twice to stand up, because I was ready to walk out after an hour. But laziness and “I’d rather put up with this for __ more minutes than be that asshole who walks out and distracts people” made me stay.

I’m glad I saw it, but only because it satisfied my curiosity - not because I enjoyed the show itself, if that makes any sense.

Just going to grab a bite at NYNY now, then get some cocktails at Juniper at Park MGM (2-for-1 MyVegas voucher). Will probably play some slots for a bit too. But I’ve got an important PowerPoint to get started with tonight, so it will be an early evening.

 

I would’ve asked for my money back!

 

None of the “quick eat” options at NYNY were appealing to me... so I went across the street to get something at Subway. Boring, but I’m not spending $17.99 or so for an equally boring reuben sandwich or some similar thing at one of those imitation New York joints.
