I hate the cluster that is Pearson. I really wish Swoop hadn't turned out to be the worst as it sure would have been nice to continue flying with them out of Hamilton :(

I love Martorano's. One trip I was solo 6 nights and ate there at the bar every night. Plenty on the menu to sample

I was just looking at this for my upcoming trip but they won't take a solo reservation for me :-( Do they serve the full menu at the bar?

No bacon or sausage? Those look fantastic. Your trip report and suite are excellent.

Yes they do and I actually had their special of the day a couple times. I was on a Tier Credit mission to hit the next level so started early in the day, Martarano's about 5:30 to 6:00 every night and bed by 8 to 9pm. Most sleep ever in Vegas. The tables were never busy so you could probably get one if you want. I just liked the bar staff so kept returning.

When I called and made a reservation they said their system can’t accept a party of one. But they just put it as a party of two, and it will be ok for me to be by myself.

It seems unreal to go from chilling out in a spa, to walking downstairs in my robe and sandals to drink beer and play video poker

Man, I was on FIRE hitting full houses. Doubled my $20 in no time.

Good thing it happened in such a short period as I was about to finish my beer, because apparently you have to wait 30 minutes now for another drink. Nah bro. I played consistently, got my money and my beer, and I’m back to the spa now.

Like the hopeless degenerate I am, I took my $20 winnings to Free Bet blackjack. Ran it up to about $75, and then back to $20.

Now ACTUALLY back to the spa.

Opinion question: I have a new plan on Thursday to visit one of my clients in the morning at their office. That’s also the day I’m doing the Flamingo Uncovered tour, and was planning on wearing my flamingoes outfit for it.

No real purpose to the meeting, we’ve just never met in person before and they’re based here in Vegas... so we thought we’d take this chance to get acquainted.

Given that this client isn’t in a “traditional” industry (they make horticultural equipment for growing cannabis), I’m inclined to believe this would be ok to wear. But then again... I’m NFC and I have no radar for these things.

What do you think? Introduce my client to my flamingoes? Or do something more conservative and change into flamingoes after?

That's difficult to answer without knowing what you do for the client. But why risk a bad impression? I spend most of my life dressed down. But one rule I always follow: when you're spending your money, dress however you want; when you're asking someone for money, dress to impress. I am assuming this scenario is the latter for you

If you already have a good phone/email relationship, there is not really a reason someone would like you "more" because you meet once or twice in person. They are much more likely to be turned off by something you do (or wear) during those meetings. Dress casual but talk about where you are going in the afternoon (Flamingo) and show the client a pic of what you are going to wear. You get credit for the creativity of the outfit (in proper context) without risking putting anyone off

Love the Aria Corner Suite, though I didn't get all those extra amenities!

And yup, the sports bar at Aria has a 30 minute limit between drinks. You shouldn't have that problem at Lift Bar or Gem Bar!

I'm pretty sure those pics were from the Lift Bar (unless the sports bar has added tables .... and a support column ... in the past 48 hours since I was last there)
