@Chuck2009x THIS is why I love you, and you ROCK.

"I emailed my host, but of course it was her weekend, Murphy's Law, so I get an immediate autoreply like a goddamn professional host should do (which lets me know what I need to do). No way I'm calling her, I respect days off."

Hosts have a REALLY hard job, where people say "give me, give me, give me" every single hour of their workday. (Or someone is mad. Or someone needs special treatment, etc.)

As always Chuck, you think of others and respect their days OFF, even when totally hungover and feeling like crap. You are a true gem!

And I love your quote on how efficient Cosmo is with backup coverage on days off. With software and tracking systems, a well-run business should have NO problems providing efficient coverage when their employees actually have a day off. (And like I said, hosts have a high pressure, demanding job. They NEED downtime.) Cosmo gets this and makes sure their staff have the tools/support to cover each other without war dialing one another on their days off. LOVE this!

Love the report Chuck. I've known you were a class-act for years, but it so warmed my heart that you refused to bug your host on her day off. Total Chuck class, but then again, that is simply who you are, and I love it!

Thanks for the recap. Congrats on the handpays taking the edge off the losses. I'm also a fan of how efficient Cosmo is. A couple of months ago emailed host about a reservation. Promptly got message back the she's out so contacted VIP, but about an hour later get a message from another host about the email to the original host. They took care of me and I'm a minnow gamboling wise.

I saw Aerosmith at the Park MGM back in April and I agree with you Chuck. They are as good as they’ve ever been and it was a great show! I recommend it to any Aerosmith fan.

I think this is the location. North/Fountain side is on the bottom. They may only be on certain floor levels, too, I have a pic of a floor plan where there is a regular studio and an elevator or something in that spot.

I kind of have a problem when I move over to PH. I'm only $2,500 coin-in away from reaching Diamond 25,000. I have my next two trips at PH booked already. So there's really no incentive for me to play much.

So I'm thinking probably a lot of $25 bacc and some $10 craps and some $2/spin Cleo.

Of yeah, forgot - I played bubble craps at Cosmo. It was a little weird, but hey if they are not gonna give us $5 craps tables...good if you want to kill some time playing something but don't want a lot of risk. Bought in for $200, played about an hour, cashed out $320.

Took the $120 winnings, added $5, went to the DD machine in HL and played $25 denom for a few spins, I think I got one 5 credit hit, that was it.

The way I found out about the Angle suite was when I booked online. It was an e-option for only 10.00 per night upgrade. I usually book through my host but she was off. When she got back she emailed me saying that she would cancel my reservation and rebook it guaranteeing the angle suite as the e-option is only if it is available when I check in.

I was so appreciative that she did that. She was with her family and sad that she wouldn't be there to come and meet us. I have already sent her a thank you and will make sure I tip her well when I am back in October for Halloween.

Just shows how wonderful the customer service is and why, although a newbie to Cosmo, I keep coming back.

I wish they would at least make that at least 3-4-5 odds like a reasonable $5 table but still (and I guess I've found wildly varying rules from one machine to another but most of the CET ones are 2x odds across the board), between that and a $15-25 minimum, I'll take it. I more than doubled my money on it my first night there, but playing max odds I would have probably done significantly better if it allowed more than 2x odds (of course that brings potential to do worse as well). I ended my first night last week at the one in Ballys, and played until I got enough free lemon drops to pass out and was in the black. I guess when you break it down that way, I got paid an awful lot of money to sit there an drink lemon drops at a leisurely pace. Did not try the one at Cosmo to see what rules were different and how - do you recall what kind of odds it allowed?

Can anyone name a bubble craps unit where it's better than 2X? I can't.

I've never seen one, but I have seen significantly different rules from one machine to another, so I figured someone might odds that better than 2x. I've only played them at CET and Royale, and didn't even try more than 2x odds at Royale. I just didn't know if that was a thing, and being a math nerd, the combined house edge increase by limiting odds drives me nuts and I feel like I'm making a sucker bet every single time. But again, better that than a $200-300+ spread for a single roll on my usual budget.

2X odds pass line is still a better bet than a LOT of casino games. But speaking of rule variations, this is my favorite. The 10-card Charlie. It's theoretically possible!!!

Here's a couple of pics. It has a bathroom with a shower when you first walk in then a bar area and living room area. The bathroom has a Japanese soaking tub with large shower looking onto the fountains and a huge double balcony 20190704_122033.jpg 20190704_003325.jpg 20190704_114727.jpg

So anyways, I was either gonna try to whack it or watch Hagler-Hearns in that last 5 mins between when the Netflix shuts off and the bell guy shows up...

Have $75 in RC, so ordered $75 worth of beers from room service. Doesn't seem like a difficult order unless they're trying to split one. PH has been a nightmare so far.

Practicing my Nicholson voice for when the guy finally shows...
