Just completed a brief two day stay at Wynn for the first time in 5-6 years.
I was motivated by posts from @Flowers,@JackpotJohnny ,@DeanMartin and others to give it a shot.
Since my last stay at Wynn ,I have stayed Aria SkySuites well over 20 times.
Wanted to compare the properties, service levels etc.
Aria has felt like home but wanted to try Wynn.

I was not comped on the way in and booked online.
    My experience was overwhelmingly positive.
Without asking , they upgraded me from an executive suite to a Parlor Suite.
    Great start.
The in room amenities are a level above Aria.

Overall the staff at Wynn is a step above any other casino hotels I have stayed at in Las Vegas or anywhere else.
The servers acknowledging you by name in all the restaurants is a nice touch.

The dealers and supervisors in the casino were professional and friendly.
I could go on but I was impressed and look forward to returning.

Finally, thanks to a member of VMB I had the name of a host who comped everything on the way out.

I just stayed in the Tower Suites at Wynn for ten days. The service there, and throughout all of Wynn/Encore, was superb in every way imaginable. I have never stayed there before this visit so I can't say with any authority that the service there has slipped or not. However, I can say this was the best customer service I have ever experienced - not just at hotels but any environment where customer service is required.

I'll be doing a recap of my stay at the Wynn in my TR in a couple of days with all of my thoughts about Wynn. There are already lots examples of their outstanding customer service in the TR but there will be a lot more in the recap.

So glad to hear you had a good stay and that you don’t think any of us gave you a bad recommendation. We love the Wynn building and premises, but mostly we share your view that the terrific Wynn staff is what really makes the difference. I’ve never found any statistics on comparative employee retention rates, but we’ve known a lot of the staff since Mirage, Bellagio, or Wynn opening. All you really need do is smile and say thanks and they’ll remember you from one trip to the next. I’m convinced you get even better service as a repeat guest, certainly at least a warmer, personalized welcome and smile.

A friend of mine recently returned from a Wynn/Encore trip (he likes the Encore side, we prefer Wynn) and he made an interesting observation. He said, “I have no doubt that there are bean counters at Wynn, but I’ve never felt like they were driving the operation the way I often do at MGM (or Caesars, but MGM seems the worst) or other hotels, in and out of Las Vegas. They really seem to actually be customer focused (a lot of companies claim this, but I’m not sure the customer often sees it). Certainly we pay for it, but I’ve never found that the best hotel in any town is the cheapest. Thanks for reminding us to go back there. We had a great time, were treated really well, ate some very good food and had a better time in Las Vegas than we’ve had in several years. I’m giving up trying to get cheap deals and comps from MGM and just heading back to Encore. It was a little more expensive, but our host surprised us at the end with some good give backs. You’ve always been pretty effusive in your praise, but you sure weren’t wrong on this one. What the hell was I thinking at Delano?”

Just returned last week from a 10-night trip. I will get around to writing a report but, once again, it was a FANTASTIC trip in so many respects even though it was a LOSING one gambling wise. I don't even feel down about it, however, as the trip and my stay at Wynncore were so wonderful. I actually came back home feeling RELAXED -- and not ready to come home -- after 10 days in Vegas, even with a couple of very late nights (3/4 am) in the middle of the trip. I attribute that relaxed feeling 95% to where I stayed, my beloved Encore.

You are my aspirational hero. We never seem to have the time or budget for ten days at a time, but the place is so residential and comfortable we’d certainly love the extra days. Envy, envy. I was also relaxed and mellow when we came home last month.

Glad you had a great trip. My company is liberal with vacation and I'm a "work hard play/relax hard" type. I don't have children but I have, by choice (and feel blessed to have), significant time/emotional and some financial obligations associated with my parents as I am the primary health point for both of them so truly relaxing on vacation is extremely important to me. I get a lot of vacation each year, about half of which I devote to Vegas trips and the other half to short/long weekend trips with family and friends and one big trip, like my cruise to Alaska with my mother next month.

Budget wise, I'll be the first to admit I definitely spend more on gambling in Vegas than I should -- thinking about that 4% retirement thread! -- but it is 100% within my comfort level as I live way below my means in other parts of my life. I make adjustments elsewhere and I have drastically cut back on going to AC (maybe once or twice a year for a weekend hosting friends in the spring or summer rather than a half dozen weekends during the year) and the local with my mother when I visit her.

I started doing this about 2 1/2 years ago because my return on my gambling "spend" is exponentially greater in Vegas. For at least the past half dozen trips, I've checked out of Encore with a bill of less than $300, which just included tips that I didn't pay in cash (which I'm doing increasingly), with my room, food, pool, show tickets, and spa treatments all covered during a long trip, so it's a trade off/business relationship that works for Wynncore and for me. Now, a SPECTACULAR trip is one that is like my normal amazing trip when I return but with more money than I brought with me (I use just cash that I carry with me, no markers, no ATMs, CCs, etc.). This past trip was on the spectacular track :) because of some amazing wins (including multiple quarter and one dollar royals with multipliers) my very first day. . . but the last 3 days of my 10-day trip were brutal :(, which turned what would have been a winning trip into a losing one, but still a great trip nevertheless.

I refer to Encore as the amazing vacation home that I don't own. LOL. I'll likely make different choices in the next couple of years bankroll wise and also because I'm looking to transition, by choice, to a different work experience where vacation time will likely be more limited, but I will stay at Wynncore (love Wynn too, especially the gaming floor and restaurants) as long as it stays an amazing place, even if that means I have a big not-comped bill on check out, which would still be a lot less than my current bankroll.

Good stuff! Thanks. We feel the same about Wynn, but I don’t say it as well. You did remind me that on check-in last trip we got an amenity and a nice note from Ramesh that began, “Welcome home.” Indeed.

We had a recent stay (7/7-7/9) at one of the Fairway Villas on the 3rd floor, closest to the Country Club side.
Service was inviting, helpful, gracious and impeccable. No problems from start to finish.
I was contacted (via text) by a Wynn rep and asked about meeting up that Monday for a conversation about our previous
    stays and thoughts about Wynn.
I initially thought I could make that meeting but had to cancel, as I was beginning to feel run-down a bit due allergies and
trying to fit too many waking hours into a 2 day trip. Such problems, I know.

Point being, I haven't yet had a conversation with my contact but we made plans to chat some time next week.
On a side note, one of my favorite things to have happened (other than the fantastic meet-up with some of our great VMB friends, of course :))
was getting to enjoy my beloved White Cosmo from Parasol Up/Down, I thought was gone forever.
I asked for a Cosmopolitan because none of the specialty drinks were calling to me that afternoon and then husband chimed in
and asked our server, Denise, if the bartender could whip up a White Cosmo (now off the cocktail menu).
We got a cheery, "sure thing" in response and it was one of the highlights of this trip.
So now you see where some of my priorities lie. Bad me. :haha:
I will let you all know the results of my chat with a Wynn rep soon after we speak.
From my observations and opinion, Wynn is still going strong in the great service department. So there you go.

I had my first ever stay at Wynn at the end of June. I thought service was fantastic across the board.

We returned from a 3 night stay with the family staying at the Wynn. Service was on point! I had 5 rooms and a cabana 2 days and ate every meal at Wynn.
It was mostly a family trip for my ailing mother in law and my gamble was minimal time with a ~$5k loss. Does anyone have thoughts whether I will receive any decent offer for the hotel spend? Maybe $10k for the 3 days.
I would enjoy just a trip back with the wife.

If you had a host, or stopped to have one of the desk hosts review your stay, then yes. If not, you’ll have to rely on a computer program or ambitious younger marketing person or host to pull you out. Your spend is high enough that someone should see it, but it’s not all that unusual at Wynn.

Would not hurt to call when you want to go back and ask for a host on duty or casino marketing. Don’t be passive hoping to be noticed is my point.

If left to there own devices the kids would have been scattered all over Fremont Street and had little time with their grandma. It was a great trip and worth the dough
