Congrats, awesome run and that does sound like a nice little follow up tournie. I’d be up for that one myself.

The best thing of course (for everyone else). Poker winnings are tax free in the UK.

Registration covered for this year and next, flights at the front end and a very nice little bonus. That’s basically the dream.

Plus follow up tournies and a nice pot for the cash games to top up the fund... it’s making me want to start playing again.

    YES!!! The TR continues!
Congrats on a great run. The main event is a brutal grind but you did well and we are all very proud! Will they allow you to register for next year now? I'd leave the 10k like someone else said and have a blast with the rest. I'm also looking forward to the YouTube link so we can see some of what you experienced. Thanks for taking us along and letting us be a part of your adventure, that was truly awesome. Good luck the rest of the trip and keep us updated!

You did a wonderful job of grinding that insane marathon of a tournament. We were all on the virtual rail rooting you on as you know. Did you pay the full 10k to enter or did you get in on a satellite tourney or some other way? Again, great job there.

Fortunately I am in a position where I brought in for the 10k as I sold a business a couple of years ago so am secure.

I think that makes a massive difference to the mental focus as for me the money was not so important. It was more about the challenge. So the laddering up didn't provide any additional pressure.

Don't get me wrong. $50k is still very nice though!
