Same thing for our Sept 13 flight on the app. But when I check it in my account on-line, it shows nothing.

I received an e-mail from SW saying they had changed my flight on our departure date.

When I checked the new itinerary, I couldn't see the change. Times were exact. So I called the airline and it was simply that they had gotten another aircraft to replace the Max 8, that was originally suppose to be in service. She told me, the Max 8's were still grounded, they thought they would be back in service by now, but they still had issue's to work out. Whew, I may make it to Vegas after all, come Sept. LOL

Received an e-mail from SW, that they changed the air craft again, for my upcoming trip on Sept.8th.

It was also on our news here in Phoenix, that SW was continuing to ground the Max until Sept. 3rd.

I just hope they can get things figured out.

at this point, it is pretty difficult to imagine these will be in the air by Sept. 3. barely 2 months to fix this, test it, get approvals, etc. That feels aggressive.

Just got an email today for our Sept 14th flight from AUS to Orlando. We had a late afternoon Non Stop and were switched to a plane change in Atlanta and on to Orlando arriving 2 hours later than original.

Umm no, that is not ok. I hate Atlanta airport and avoid it at all costs.

Called and got the 7AM Non Stop and a $29 credit each since the fare went down.

Keeping fingers crossed for no more changes.

I believe they already changed their schedules until September, as they changed their schedule, and cancelled my original flight to Vegas in August, so hopefully you are ok!

Wanted to fly SWA during Halloween. Early am non-stop out of ATL is still listed as a Max8 on calendar. Don’t want to book and then be put on 700 plane. Fudge!!!

Does anyone know if Southwest added the Max back into their fleet? I received an e-mail from them, saying they had to change my itinerary, but all they changed was the plane departing for our Sept.8th flight to Vegas. Didn't check to see if it was a Max or not.

They keep changing the planes on me. This will be the third e-mail from them, stating the plane change. Nothing else has changed as far as flight times or cancellations.

Southwest EXCLUSIVELY flies 737s. They have the most delivered (in service, but currently grounded) and unfulfilled orders for the MAX in the world. I would expect continued changes from them as this grounding keeps getting pushed back.

How do you check to see if your plane is a MAX?

They announced on the news that they are cancelling some OMA-LAX flights due to the No-Max issue.

Look at the monthly “low fare calendar” and click on the flight # you might be considering.

How do I check for flights I've already booked? That's what I'm concerned about.

Same way. Just go back like your starting a new booking.
