IMO, the Bally's Laurel Lounge is worth the 1000 point hit. It offers a small, but typically good buffet with very personable servers and the best view (floor-to-ceiling windows) of the beach.

Also at Bally's is my must-have spot every time I'm in AC: Harry's Oyster Bar.

So glad you added photos of Bally's lounge. Will have to try next time. Always loved Caesars so much. Your Photos helped:)

Agree about Harry's. Great location too.

I'm going to Harry's next weekend! Thanks for building up the anticipation. And, wow, I didn't realize Bally's had such a good DL. It's funny how the AC Diamond Lounges run laps around the Vegas ones.

Thank you! I plan on checking it out while I'm there this weekend! Sort of crazy how they have so many different pay tables at Caesar's. From 9/6 to 7/5 JoB

Wife and I love both lounges on the boardwalk, but prefer caesars for bartender Anthony who is awesome. Food in both places is serviceable and drinks are very strong. Both offer incredible views. Harrah's has the best food including a brick over for pizza, but has minimal ambiance and is typically very crowded.

Serious question, where is the Diamond Lounge for Harrah's? I only know of the 7 Stars lounge. Also, AC is the only place where I know of having seperate 7 stars lounges

It’s even crazier how much coin in it takes to earn a tier credit, but that’s the world we live in now. I hope you have a great weekend and win lots of money!

I was at Borgata night before last and they matched my Diamond to Gold and threw in a few goodies. Maybe in that market, Harrah's AC will match your MLife Platinum to 7* Worth asking.

Thank you for providing that link. I looked, but couldn't find it. In addition to what's listed, they also gave me $25 express comps. I was really happy with the match offer.

Given this OP, I take back my suggestion to ask for a 7* match.

Skimming this thread has made me want to check out AC. I’ve never been and I think only got a flight offer from CET once or twice. I like the idea of Beach and Casinos plus some of the tips and info in this thread really gives some appealing suggestions on how to do it right. Thanks VMBers as always!

While at Caesars Toga Bar last night, my 7* neighbor at the VP machine was from the Dayton, OH area. She regularly takes a CET flight from either Dayton or Columbus and brings along a friend or two. One of the friends was exceptionally friendly towards me, quite possibly because she was way into her cups that evening.

We go to a beach that’s about a mile south of Tropicana, we bring our beach chairs and an umbrella. The beach is very quiet and not crowded like some other beaches along the Jersey Shore. And beaches in AC are free, unlike just about all of the others (except the Wildwoods) that require a beach tag that can run $10 or so for the day. We pack a lunch or split a White House sub and have a cooler. We also like to ride bikes along the boardwalk in the morning. For us, Gambling at any of 9 casinos is just an added bonus to a beach vacation.
