MyVegas MyKonami FreePlay denied at Mandalay Bay

I just tried to redeem a Konami FreePlay reward at Mandalay Bay and got shot down. I just purchased one for Aria and going to give that a try.

 

Looks like some one at the mlife desk at MB doesn't know what they are doing as the Komani reward has no restrictions
I just redeemed one at the Mirage plus redeemed a 50 dollar fp and we are on a comp so it just depends who is at the desk
But again there should have been no problem with the Komani fp

 

@ffejry had the same experience today as well. Mandalay Bay has always been strict about this. The lady did give me $20 of FreePlay anyways, so that was nice. Also, I didn't have any issue redeeming the FreePlay at Aria.

 

I don't understand what the problem is at MB as if you read the rules all it calls for on the Konami fp is that you be a member of M Life
So why they would be refusing to redeem it doesn't make sense

 

I have the Konami FreePlay at MB for a trip in July.
Thinking of changing it just because of these reports. Hmmm.......

 

just buy another Konomi reward for a different casino, if they won't allow you to use it at MB then go to the other casino, use the Konami reward, and return the MB reward....

 

If you have enough LP, buy one from a different casino to have on hand. Not sure if the reward is available once you're in town.

Thank you for posting this. I just bought one for MB for my early Sept trip. I will return it and buy one for Luxor. I hear it's easy to walk to from MB. Never been to either place...usually stay at the Aria/Bellagio and never had an issue there.

I also just bought some Spa Finder gift cards on sale at Costco. $100 in gift cards for $70. I've used them at many of the salons at Mlife. But, MB doesn't have a salon, it's some independent stylist. They are good at Luxor so it sounds like I will be spending an afternoon at Luxor with my FP and blowout.

 

I did not know this reward existed. I have the 4 reward limit, does that mean I can redeem the $25 Konami FP at Aria, Bellagio, Mirage and MGM on the same trip with no MGM hotel stay?

It's maybe a 5 minute walk tops. As for Spa Finder, I know MB's Spa used to take Spa Finder a few years ago, haven't used one recently. It was a solid deal to pick up a 5 day spa pass.

 

It's only available in the MyKonami Slots game (same game on phone and FB) and you SHOULD be able to used all 4, though Mirage could be iffy if you read the Freeplay restrictions thread.

I was denied once at night, went back the next morning and got it. I was staying on 2 comped nights - this was last month.

 

That was at MB, correct?

 

I stayed at Delano May 12-14 on a comp. Was allowed to use $25 Konami free play at MB.

 

More often than not - it's just a crappy MLife desk agent who doesn't know what they're doing. I'd wait till they were gone and try again.

Thanks for the heads up just cancelled my Konami FreePlay at MB and rebooked it at a different property.

 

We had the same experience just this past week. No problem using the reward.
