4 Q's is a great place to play all 3 of those games. They are very into coin in per day. The gaming day is an official secret, but it probably starts at 2 AM. Winning or losing don't seem to affect offers, just coin in. They average trips, either the last 2 or 3. I stayed 4 days one time and they dropped a day of play and it dropped my offers. Now I just do 3 day stays. A host told me that he thought they counted a 3 day stay as only 2 gambling days.. I don't know if this is true, but it would explain why I seem over comped at time. It does make a difference if you spend the whole WE getting 3,000 points or doing it over a 3 day WE, but we are only talking a $100 FP, around $25 comps and perhaps a suite. I never drop below 2,500 points a weekend, so I don't know how low you can go before 3 nights and hundreds in FP turn into 2 weekday nights and tens. I also don't hit the upper end much and am relying on others' experiences.

I think these kind of truthful reports of the other side of VP ring very real for me, and should be helpful for the casual players, who read and get excited about reading the not so common great runs, and/or glory stories about upping denominations after doing well, to stakes beyond their bankroll would support. Then, some of them will easily and quickly lose their gains to that point, maybe due to "advice" they read on message boards. Sticking to the stakes that your bankroll supports allows you to ride out these bad runs, which are certain to come sooner or later.

I've had at least my share of 90%-ish return days. Your session here is below 85%, DESPITE hitting Aces! This is one of the reasons I don't like to post hands. Aces are great, but almost everyone would trade Aces in a bad day, for a winning day without Aces!

Nice that you had your run of royals earlier, and can shrug this off!

Hey Flowers, the next similar promo is being touted by the 4Q's on twitter, so is definitely open to everyone.

You, my friend should a class on VP psychology and bankroll. EVERYBODY offers strategy charts, but that doesn't teach you how to play the game, just how to play your hands..

5/26/19 Sunday and the last day of the 4 Q's promotion
Not only did yesterday's loss despite some good hits bring me back to earth, it also slowed down my play. I've got until 11:00 PM to earn 2,660 points. That's $21,280 coin in. While theoretically possible at .50c. It isn't likely. I'm pretty fried. I usually don't reach 8,000 points, but I'm more committed than usual this time out. Part of me wants to go back to DDB, but licking wounds takes time and I decide that JOB is the game of the day. My lucky Christmas socks, while not in the doghouse, are staying in the room today getting a much needed airing out. I'm also having lunch with friends today and don't want to blow them off.
I play my first hand at 7:04 and draw 2 to fill out a club SF a minute later. SF's seem like a waste on 10/6 DDB, but I love them on JOB. I hit 2 quads the same hour, but still lose my $100 buy in at 8:26. I lose another $100 at 9:00. Most days this would annoy me, but after yesterday losing a mere $100 an hour seems relaxing. I hit another quad and then was dealt a 9-K Club SF. I had heard about these and knew to hold the hand, But I never expected to be dealt one. I got 10's at 10:35 and for some reason noted at 11:00 that I was up $100 for the day. I was probably just pleasantly surprised. I had hit fewer hands than earlier this morning, but the smaller pays were coming and I was building on these wins instead of seeing them evaporate. I hit 4's and didn't even mind that I wasn't playing DDB. 12:12 I was back to even for the day. I was dealt 4 Aces at 12:21 PM. I held all 5 cards as I didn't particularly want to see a kicker. My friends arrived at 12:25. They ignored my subtle hint that we gamble for a while. They were hungry. I never leave a machine that is giving me money, especially when I need points. But I made an exception, cashed out, and took them to lunch.

Excellent advise, just what I needed to know to enjoy my stay and also know what "business" I need to take care of to keep coming back. Thank you

You're welcome. If you aren't staying there, a couple single high play days would probably do the trick as well. Just separate them maybe as much as a week so that they aren't counted as a single trip.

You might be the first person to post about this scenario here without the seemingly mandatory complaint about the quads paying the 125 rate rather than the 250 and up DDB rate! Congratulations! When I read the typical complaints from people hitting quads after moving to JOB from DDB, I bite my tongue, but want to post, "would you rather not get a quad in JOB? Do you hope you miss the quad when drawing to held trips in JOB?". And, note, almost 1/3 of the JOB quads would pay 400 and up in DDB. Would those people want to give up those JOB quads too? It's a matter being realistic and mature in living with the decision of the impacts (both pluses and minuses) of people's choice of game type!

Glad to see someone happy hitting the 3rd best hand in that game!

    Sunday 5/26 afternoon.
I retired a year ago but have been traveling a lot, like 60,000 something miles this year. I have friend that I live 10 minutes from who I haven't seen in months. Life is bizarre enough that she was in Vegas with her dad this weekend, so we end up finally getting together 1,000's of miles from home at Chicago brewing She has been very busy with family tragedy, drama, and life changing new responsibilities. I'm rapped up with winning and losing thousands of dollars over a few days and she is actually more fired up over the $120 she won at penny slots lording her success over her dad's $24 loss. They were incredibly funny even while discussing pretty weighty issues. The 1 1/2 hours went fast. Dad finished 3 wheat beers, I had a couple IPA's and she a couple Bloody Mary's sans garnish. She seemed puzzled that they would be served with food attached. It felt strange paying for a drink even it was with comp dollars. She had some kind of chicken sandwich that looked so good that it will be my dinner order. I had another pizza and Dad had a burger. I sent them on their way to the zip line and Mob Museum with LVA coupons. Lunch was a hit, but I still have a lot of gambling to do before 11:00.
I got back to .50 JOB at 2:10. I hit twos with a kicker 5 minutes later and Kings 6 minutes after that. It didn't look like I'd make 8,000 points without playing dollars for a while, so I upped denominations.
I used to be a huge fan of switching denominations. Once at 4 Q's I was playing the old 10/7 .25 DB progressive machines for 4 or 5 hours without hitting a quad. I wasn't even getting a FH and was basically sitting hundred dollar bills on fire. I got frustrated and went to the Cal to play the same game because I was convinced that things HAD to get better. That machine ate my first hundred so I switched to .50. It ate my second hundred so I switched to dollars. halfway through my third hundred I held 2 and the other 3 royal cards appeared. I was still trying to figure out what happened when the slot attendant came by. It was my first Royal playing for more than .25. At Sam's town I was on a run with JOB and moved my way up to dollars and was dealt a Royal. I wasn't looking at the time and had never been dealt one. I thought it was a screen saver that got stuck and was trying to fix it. So I used to be a fan of increasing denominations. Over the past couple of years when I try this, I hit a quarter quad, switch to .50, lose at twice the rate, switch back, and hit a quarter quad.
This time I was dealt a SF 6 minutes later and then got dealt 4 to a Royal. Drum roll please...….
NO $4,000 Royal this time. I do hit a couple of quads over a couple before losing my hundred at 5:10 I did get enough points to make an 8,000 point goal feasible and go back to .50. I hit a few more quads in before losing another $100 at 7:05 PM.
At 9:50 PM, I think that I've hit the 8,000 mark but the player's club disagrees. I go back, lose a quick $50, recheck my math, and go back to the playes club. The line is long now. If I stand in it, I might not have time to get the points they say I need. I finally talk to a supervisor who agrees with me and said that sometimes it takes a while for the points to show up. So I got the $500 FP! I wound up losing $200 today which puts my 2 day losses at around $1500. I'll have to get that under control if I want to actually go home with money,
I am really pleased with how the promotion went. I'm fried and will play the $500 later. I'll leave the $200 in points for when I have a future bad trip. For now, I'm going to Chicago brewing for that sandwich my friend had and a couple of IPA's. I move to the D tomorrow and wand to be at their players desk at 7 AM to use the LVA FP coupon during their 5x point Memorial day promotion.

Many thanks for this info! I usually stay at Encore but I like to venture to DT at least once a trip. EC used to be the place where I'd hang most but not anymore and I was looking for a new place that is not Boyd, so thinking about 4Q and I want to give The D some play in light of Circa.

I didn't think you could do the 8,000 pts! Congrats! I know for me, I can do one marathon day, but two back to back becomes a bit much.

Really enjoyed your Sam's Town dealt "screen saver" Royal story!

You ending the last post talking about using the LVA coupon at the D on a multi point day, which should be interesting, because I am positive someone posted that they tried doing that during this promo, and were turned away.

Memorial Day 5/27/19 at The D
The D has a 5 x point multiplier today! A while back they tried to exclude VP from the multiplier, people went ape shit, they relented, and I think that they even increased the multiplier for those who were already playing. I'm confident then that 5x will apply to VP. I also have a LVA coupon that gives up to $100 FP for $10,000 through in $5 increments. The Vue Bar as 8/5 BP. The base gam returns 99.17%, but this one has a 3 way progressive! We're talking 99.17+ .5% points and 1% FP for a 100.67% game before progressives. For those who are interested, I will tediously record the amounts paid. Those who aren't have probably already stopped following this report.
I'm at the players desk before 8 AM. I wanted to make their 7:00 open, but am running about 40 minutes late. I've already been to the bar and reserved my favorite machine. The 4 OAK 5-K is already in the high $30's and I want it. The players club accepts the FP and MP coupons W/O any issue.
I order my first coffee and Bailys.
    8:00 Kings for $39, 8:22 Aces for $100, 8:40 dealt Threes for $50, 9:30 eights for $43.50 (really wanted that one), 9:44 fives for $33.50 and again at 10:00 for $33.25, 11:06 Aces for $100, At 12:30 and 12:38 I hit quads that I didn't accurately identify for $37.75 and $32.75.At 12:42 I drew 2 Clubs and filled out a $158.50 SF.
A couple VP friends had arrived who I loved talking to so my play, but not my luck had slowed a bit. I had a late check out a 4 Q's at 1:00 and had to move.
I cashed out a $350 ticket, put a reserve sign on my machine, and left the bar.
Moving went smooth. The Casinos are next door to each other. Last nights sandwich should have been covered by my $19 go green credit, but the account summary disagreed. It only took the desk a minute to sort it and I was headed to the D. I was in my new room in 10 minutes, high floor facing away from the stage. The room offer came with $35 FP, $25 food, and $30 MP. The 20% coffee coupon is now 10% off and the $5 diner credit is discontinued. A while back they moved from a one use paper voucher system to putting comps on the card. They can be combined with GG, so I'm pretty happy with the changes.
    Easiest room change ever.
My friends distracted with stories of Aces and multiple quads, so I forgot to record my starting time. The machine was slow, so I went to lunch/breakfast, ate 2/3rds of a cheesesteak and brought the rest back to the bar
Play is slow for me and my friends go to lunch. A local I like was playing next to me, so I still had someone to talk to. Some one hits the SF as soon as they leave
I hit another Club SF after drawing a card for $72 at 2:16. At 2:44 I draw the right diamond for another SF for $64. I had dreams about hitting a $250 SF today, but I've done that in increments.
I am not hitting quads, my SF credits evaporate and I lose my $100 buy in at 3:34. At 4:14 I hit fives. I forgot to record the amount. It wasn't much because my friends are on a roll and are gobbling up quads before the progressive can grow. I plead with the to slow down, but they aren't very receptive.
I lose another $100 at 4:45, hit twos for $50 at 5:00 and took a break at 5:50. I have about 880 points.
My record keeping has gone to shit. I don't record when I start, but I hit twos for $50 at 7:44. Fives are almost worth as much paying $47 at 7:50.I get threes for $50 at 8:47. I'm basically the last player at the bar. The royal is around $1400. One of my friends hit the SF earlier, but it has grown as well and the 4 OAK is over $40, but I'm hitting nothing.
A guy sits next to me and has a bad opening line to strike up a conversation. He seems like someone who would steal my 4 OAK. I duck the conversation and play faster. He doesn't hit 4 OAK. After maybe 7 minutes he draws 3 to complete a Royal and tells me how he doesn't gamble much and was just here for the Sports Book. At least I hit tens for the $49.50. Biggest 4OAK of the day for me, but one of my friends had taken down several. At 9:50 I hit eights for $31.50. I had my 1,000 points ordered my last Stone IPA, and quit at 9:56 PM up $50 for the day. I was pretty tired and neglected to record the results of the $135 FP. You can't play it at the bar. I hit a bad run and only converted about $100 of it into cash.
In my book this was a great day. The coffee and Baily's, Stone IPA's and cheese steak were great. I loved catching up with my friends even if they are better players and cost me some money today. Plus after a 2 day losing streak being up $150 with another $50 in points feels like getting back on track.
Tomorrow I plan to check out Jerry's Nugget for Senior Day and their new player promotion.

Great report so far! That's some crazy grinding. I know someone already said it, but way to keep the JOB quads in perspective. I used to be really bad about when I hit JOB premium quads or any natural quads when playing deuces wild. Now I remind myself to be happy with a win, or just not play the other variants in the first place.

All I can say is if by any chance if you did the promo, ate at their coffee shop with the food credit, and had either the Strawberry Ring or the Eclair for dessert, I will be extremely jealous!
