I saw George Carlin many years ago out by the cab stand at MGM Grand.
I also saw Terrell Owens, Marion Barber and Patrick Crayton at the Bellagio(all former Cowboys).

Probably everybody (or most) have seen a celebrity while in Vegas, so if you have had the luck of meeting a big name in Vegas and took a picture with him/her lets see it :)

I played blackjack with PMalone once at Aria.

About 10-12 years ago, I was playing $15 dollar blackjack at Hard Rock. Tom Brady, Matt Leinhart, and Deion Branch sat down at the table. Brady checks 10 crisp 100 dollar bills. Leinhart bolts for a roulette game. Branch bought in for $500.

Brady is flat betting 50 bucks per. 3 or 4 hands in, he gets dealt a hard 12 against a dealer 2. He pulls out a strategy card, and he's worried that he's gonna screw things up "for the table" (He hit and busted!) For the next half hour, he continued to refer to The STRAT card when needed. He played flawless!

Most people didn't recognize him at the time, he flirted graciously with the cocktail waitress who had no idea who he was. She eventually figured it out, got a big tip, and a story I'm sure she's still tells today.. Hell, the pit boss didn't even know who he was. It was epic fun, even though once people started figuring out who he was, he was getting asked for autographs, etc... I could tell he was uncomfortable. I honestly think if no one recognized him, he would have been there for hours.

It lasted no more than a half hour, but he was honestly just tryin' to be a regular dude playing blackjack....with a cheater card! Definitely one of my all time favorite Vegas memories.

Rickey Henderson (Baseball, famous for talking about himself in the third person, i spoke to him the same way and he wanted to punch me), Elton Brand (former NBA player
and now general manager, won numerous awards for mr NBA congeniality. Super nice guy), Vinnie Paul (Drummer for Pantera, one of my favorite Hard rock acts. he sat down next to us at Vamp'd but i didnt want to bug him), Ron Jeremy (Famous porn star with the nickname "The Hedgehog". Long story there). Horny Mike from Counting Cars. Might have been hitting on my wife till i walked up, cool enough dude. i am sure there are others, but i may not have remembered in a Vegas "haze".

Laurel saw Mario Batali leaving his restaurant at Venetian years ago. And she saw Joel and Benji Madden of the band Good Charlotte and Joel's wife Nico!e Ritchie at Mandelay Bay. Not sure what year, but Nicole was pregnant with 2nd child, and first child was in a stroller. And this was before Benji married Cameron Diaz. Recognized them right away as we are big Good Charlotte fans (saw them perform at Palms last year, going to try to catch them downtown 5/24 too.)

Years ago I was .convinced I saw Wayne Newton at Caesar's, but Laurel and our friend Dave politely disagreed....

Met Red Rox, years ago at Bally's. One thing I can say is, he was a total ASS!! I was playing Keno and so was he. When I went up to get my next card, he looked at me as said "I know, you want my autograph" in a tone as if I was a lonely pissant. I just told him flat out "No, I have better things to do with my time" and walked to the next lady to get my card.

Meeting celebs isn't of much interest to me either. But getting a keno card was a better thing to do with your time lol :poke:

If it's a natural occurrence, I don't mind meeting them... years ago, Mel Torme was one of the better encounters I had...at the Riviera elevators...he was coming off - I was getting on.... I simply said "Hey, Mel", as he exited...he paused for a moment & asked me how things were going...I replied "Not too well so far today"... he says something like, "don't worry - you'll get 'em"... and walked off.
    I thought that was great!

Virtually 100% sure I shared the lift (elevator) with Morgan Freeman and his partner yesterday. He looked like MF and sounded like Morgan Freeman (old guy in shorts and a Tee) when he spoke to me. And as I looked at him, whilst processing this information. His partner was looking at me looking at him as if to say 'yes it is' lol.

I suspect holidaying 'incognito' off strip.
    To avoid attention.

Latest was when I was in Vegas at end of May. Closed Roulette table in middle of Planet Hollywood with PH security standing around diverting people away....but you could sit down at blackjack table directly across from them and watch. It was Demi Lovato playing (and smoking a cigar), Lady Gaga mostly keeping her head down and playing on her phone (casino didn’t object), and entourage for one of them filling extra seats. It had been Christina Aguilera ‘s opening night so I’m guessing that’s why they were there. LG wanted to be left alone, but DL was celebratory and on display. Heard several people say ‘isn’t she just out of rehab? Should she be in a casino?’
