Take the monorail from Westgate to the Linq, Hash House is on the second floor. $20 will get you all the food you can possibly eat!

Hash House at Linq as mentioned is good.

We did the PepperMill Lounge last trip and will be back. Their omelettes are massive. The old school lounge is great for grabbing a drink or coffee while you wait for your table.

I wonder what a “decent” breakfast would be? That *could* be McDonalds to some people. [emoji1744]‍[emoji3603]

Well, at this end of the spectrum we have flavor and variety. At that end of the spectrum we have food measured by the square yard & PSI. :ssst:

The Egg & I on W. Sahara. Best breakfasts I’ve ever had.

Closest to you...The Peppermill. (excellent choice)
Close to you by car/Uber...The Egg & I (excellent choice)
also, Palace Stn buffet (never been but heard good things)

In fact, in my opinion, these beat what you'd pay double for on the Strip.

    Peppermill
    Egg &I (Uber)
Omelet House (on Charleston) - Uber
Palace Station Buffet - While very good it is a buffet
For great breakfast dishes I suggest Egg & I or Omelet House

I haven't stayed there since it was the Hilton, but I'm surprised there is no breakfast on planet Westgate that is under $20, but maybe I shouldn't be.

If you can drive or Uber, bagelmania on Twain St is nearby but may not be a place you want to walk to. Good breakfast place for a good price, possibly under $10 depending on what you order. Caveat: it has been sold since I last visited but I have read good reviews recently.

It looks like bagelmania delivers using one of those doordash type services.

Also Marilyn's Cafe at the Tuscany.

You were kidding about the coffee shop at Silverton, right? Its just a run-of-the-mill coffee shop, even though its called a "grill".

Seems like a good place for breakfast, although not especially close to the Westgate.

Not remotely close. But at the time I wasn't sure of the trans options available. Lots of great breakfast options all around the valley.

I don't see it as the be-all/do-all many do, but for someone w/o a car hoofing over to Peppermill certainly suffices and no Uber $$$ has to come off the 20 bucks available for the meal.

Indeed. Westgate is so big, that it could be a 20 minute walk from your room just to the edge of the campus. The surrounding area is a pretty mixed bag in terms of safety and blocked sidewalks due to construction. Not what I would consider pedestrian oriented, except going to the convention center.

    Ummm, OK.

This is all relative. At some point you starting stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime. I believe the former high-roller room at Westgate is now the coffee shop. Voila. No hiking, no extra costs for Uber or whatever. Some might like the stroll to Peppermill as it puts them out for the day and, seriously, what is frightening about walking along Convention Center Drive in daylight? Me? I have a car so it's moot. Without the car and intent on leaving the premises, I'd hop on Uber and hit one of the local/regional joints like Jamms or any number on the lists above.

Well, a lot of people are posting about Hash House, so um, yeah.... "Decent" is in the eye of the beholder.

We were rather positive when HHAGG escaped SoCal and made it to Vegas. After the novelty of it all wore off, we're no longer jazzed.

Breakfast can be a very simple thing. But like all simple things at VMB, it can be explosive. lol
