Not me but my brother about 25 years ago. Me and a buddy are eating breakfast at Fitzgeralds where we are all staying and my brother gets a page for a phone call. Brother is not a morning person so I go to a house phone and it is some chick asking if he wants to hang out. I tell her to call back in 4 hours.

When we finally see my brother I ask him who the chick is that is looking for him and he has no clue. We then go to the tables and a pit boss tells my brother "good to see you are alive" so we ask what he means and pit boss tells us brother was playing roulette last night and got so drunk he fell of his chair so they cashed him out and security got him to his room.

He didn't remember any of this. No, the chick never called back

Absolutely. One night I was the luckiest boy in the world... went to bed, passed out, and woke up to messages from the concierge at Cromwell that I left "a voucher" in a slot machine..... luckily i was playing and staying there and they found me... cause that was a $700 ticket i abandoned and got back

Not in Vegas. I've been "college drunk" a couple times in Vegas, but usually in the suite with friends, where the environment is relatively controlled. And I usually am surrounded by people I know will babysit me. :)

I travel solo to Vegas a lot and as a woman, I have to be a little extra careful because of that. I enjoy drinking in Las Vegas. It's part of why I go. But I'm mindful of my surroundings and I try to keep myself somewhere just this side of wobbly and away from stumbling, and usually in my home casino when I do it alone.

Some of these stories of people getting their tickets/money back or getting helped back to the room with their winnings or that sort of thing, I hope they believe in karma and pass it along to someone else. Or the other side of it, they are being rewarded for helping someone in the past...

Back in the day my brother would drink so hard that the bartenders at Lady Luck would ‘upsize’ his drink glass, because even though he tipped every drink they got tired of refilling it. If we were playing together I’d get the same treatment, from 7 ounce cocktail to 12 ounce plastic to 16 ounce plastic. Twice I woke up in my room staring at a half empty cup on the nightstand wondering about the walk to the room. Once my brother passed out at the bar and enjoyed a complimentary wheelchair ride to his room; the next day everyone reassured us that he had been a real sweetheart about it.

Yes...once. I made the mistake of getting a drink with dinner (usually I only drink while gambling, not at meals), and that led to poor decisions about ordering more cocktails. I woke up in my room, fully dressed, not remembering how I got back there. All happened in the casino hotel I was staying in, luckily, and I had wallet, TITOs intact, and phone. That next day was not a happy day--saltines and ginger ale only, and a very unpleasant plane ride home.

Never blackout drunk but remember one trip where me and hard liquor duked it out. It won. Me and beer have been a loving couple ever since.

Ya, and we have a pic or two on one of these Trip Reports to prove this. Well, we can prove the passing out on the marble. We also covered Macker up every so slightly to make the pic Rated PG.

I have a pretty high tolerance, but there have definitely been a few times I don't remember getting back to the room, or have time loss for few hours at the end of the night. In most cases it was on trips that I wasn't just doing alcohol but other "enhancements" that shall remain nameless. But I always end up safe and sound in the room with no signs of undue distress.

The only time I've ever drank to the point of not remembering things in Vegas was during a daytime strip crawl with my buddy Rocky 4-5 years ago. I don't remember where we started but the last thing I remember is getting a big frozen pina colada type drink that was super strong at a little kiosk outside Tropicana and then going across to either MGM or Excalibur, don't remember which. Next thing I remember I woke up in the room at NYNY and it was dark outside and Rocky was passed out. I thought it must've been 5 AM or so but it was actually only 8 PM. Woke him up and we went out until the sun was up.

I don't drink nearly as much as I used to, but I do consume far more marijuana than I used to. Marijuana tends to have the opposite effect for me - the more I take, the more I remember the little details of the experience, and I appreciate that.

some vegas stories I was there for and got the rest from friends

SEMA 2017, my friend from Boston is in for the show, brought his brother to Vegas for his first visit ever. Im at ballys and they say come meet at Carnaval Court...on my way...I get there and they already had a few beers, some Jameson and fruity drinks they give out for free shots at the bar...now these are some big boys and I know one can drink a lot, just met his brother that day so unsure what he can handle...im pounding Jack and cokes and see the brother order one of those yard long drinks. the bartender Robert (Awesome) uses a whole bottle of Sky vodka in the drink and then proceeds to fill the straw up with vodka as well...hes drinking and I notice his eyes getting a little chinese and his face is getting red...his brother looks and me and says "see you tomorrow i gotta get him to the hotel"...next day im getting the rest of the story that on the way to MGM he almost threw up in the uber but made it there without throwing up...he said that his brother took a shower, came out butt ass naked and said "I need help" he tried to put his boxers on and put both legs in the same hole and face-planted in the room...when he woke up the nect day he said "at least I made it to Midnight", we laughed as he only made it to 4pm...a year later I showed him the picture with the drink and he didnt remember it

SEMA 2018 back at Carnaval court with the brothers drinking. we had a good bit, im feeling pretty good. they put some beer and Jameson away. they say they are going to go in harrahs and eat at Ruth Chris, somehow they made it to I assume Toby Keith's Bar or somewhere that they have a drink challenge of a glass of Tequila with a scorpion in it and you win a T-shirt. I seen the video, it was a not a shot it was a lot of Tequila. He knocked it down and chugged a beer right after. 8pm he was knocked out in the room

few years back, im staying at CP, last day i want to take it easy and relax before an early flight next morning back home...head to Carnaval Court early on an empty stomach, enjoying the Whip-its perform. tell them im taking it easy and just going to have 2 or 3 drinks. well some people had other ideas as they decided they were going to buy my drinks. I remember leaving CC and going to meet Mike Tyson in the Forumn shops. come back and continued drinking. getting dark my friend hits me up that he just got back in town from moving all his stuff from new orleans back to vegas. I meet up with him and we had a couple drinks at 5 oclock bar, then to the linq for some more...I took a break as I had something sretup at harrahs that turned into more than I could imagine and had a big smile on my face when I left, still talk to one of the girls, lol...back down to the linQ I tell my friend im tapping out as I have to get up early to fly home...stumble over to CP and get in the room and im starving but dont have the energy to go back downstairs and the time who knows whats even open, it was around 12:30am I think...I get on the phone with room service, ordered a NY strip steak, loaded potato, fet/alfredo pasta with the extra charge chicken breast, some sides. told the lady to hurry as I was starving. I hung the phone up, turned and hit the bed and was out. woke up next morning fully clothed with a cart full of cold food next to the bed, a receipt that they signed my name on for $118 lol...

brought my friend to vegas for his first time, payed his way and threw him up at paris, another friend tagged along and stayed with him. another big boy, he was drinking a bunch of Patron and hes Diabetic. he left and went to the room said he was done for the night. a while later we eating at the pho soup place that serves Dim sum, think its kangs or something. anyway, here comes our friend, walks right in the place, sits down and takes one of our friends soups and starts eating it. he finished that one and grabbed another bowl that one of our friends couldnt finish...after that he got up and walked right back to the room, said he dont remember any of it, we till clown him about it

One I stilled get clowned for. I was drinking at CC and then went down to Fuel Bar, my friend is getting me tore up, everytime Id say this is the last one, id turn to talk to someone or look out the windows and bam another drink...I needed food so my brother and I are trying to figure something out when my friend says, go to Grand Lux at the Venetian...we go there, get seated and I order some edamame for an app...we both ate a good bit of them, grab one and nothing is in it. grab another pop it in my mouth and nothing, after about 7 of no beans in the casing, i told my brother we need to tell the waiter they served a bunch of empty casings...he looks at me and goes, did you think maybe you are eating from the pile we already ate...yep, I done that, lol

The 1st day of my trip I got blackout drunk and lost my entire bankroll:

The setting is Venetian / Pallazo with my brother.

My normal table play at BJ is $50 to $100 per hand. My bankroll that weekend was $5K. Let me say that in close to 40 trips to Vegas, I have never lost my bankroll before departure day. I always allocate a percentage of my bankroll for each day. This trip would be the exception.

For the last 30 years, I've always been able to outdrink all my family and friends. Not bragging, just setting up the story as my tolerance for alcohol is high. Much of the story below was relayed to me when I was sober.

This story starts out in the Venetian High Limit room. I bought in at BJ for $1,000 and played for 4 hours at a $100 table. I never got too high or low and stayed about even the entire time. Luckily for me, they had my favorite vodka available. I love a good vodka martini with green olives stuffed with blue cheese. They didn't have the right kind of olives, but we threw a $50 chip at the drink waiter and he personally went to one of the restaurants and brought back a bottle of our olives. I proceeded to drink a dozen martini's during our 4 hour session. Math comes really easy to me, so even when I'm smashed, I can easily play basic strategy Black Jack and not hold up the table. During the last 30 minutes of the session, I would bow my head and fall asleep for a minute or two every time the dealer had to shuffle. When it was time to play again, the dealer would get my attention for the 1st hand of the new shoe and I would wake up and continue playing. This happened 3 or 4 times (falling asleep during the shuffle). I would be fine during the shoe, and while playing, but as soon as it was time to shuffle, my drunken self would fall asleep. The last time it happened, I was snoring at the table. I guess snoring at a blackjack table is what crosses the line lol.

All the dealers and pit bosses at the Venetian know my brother and I very well from our play there over the last 7 or 8 years. My brother was 20 feet away at the lone roulette table and one of the pit crew goes over to my brother and says "You need to go get your brother. He's too drunk and we need you to remove him. We are cutting him off". Being the degenerate he is, my brother says, "Give me one more spin, then I'll get him". The pit guy says "no, you're brother needs to leave". My brother pleads for just one more spin and the pit critter says 'OK - 1 spin!'. My brother hastily puts his remaining chips ($200) on Zero. The spin happens and guess what, the ball lands on Zero for a $7,000 hit and run.

The next thing I know, someone is tapping me on the shoulder and my brother is right there saying "hey bro, we have to go". I don't remember coloring up, so I guess I just shoved chips in my pocket and we walked away. We get outside the high limit room and my brother asks what we should do. Of course, not really understanding why we just left the high limit room, I say, "you wanna play blackjack out here on the floor". We go find a table, sit down, and before we can even throw down our player cards, the floor pit boss says, "we can't let you play." Apparently, the high limit crew watched us walk out to a table on the main floor and made the call to keep me from playing.

At this point, you'd think I would go to bed, but noooooo, I wanted to continue gambling and drinking. So we discuss our options and decide to make the short walk over to the Palazzo and play cards in their high limit room and I order more vodka martinis. At this point, I only remember little flashes of things. I have a memory of not being able to walk straight. I have a fading memory of some guy at our BJ table who was a hollywood producer, or writer, or some such. And I have a small fleeting remembrance of getting on a hot streak, lots of chips on the table, and betting way above my normal betting patterns. By this time it was after midnight and we apparently asked our dealer if we could get some omeletes. The Palazzo high limit room obliged. I don't remember really eating it, but I remember sitting down with a plate in front of me. I was told I practically inhaled the omelete. I don't remember anything more. I don't remember playing some more, having more drinks, leaving, or making the long walk back to my room.

The next thing I remember is waking up, laying on top of my bed in my underware, wondering why the fuck it's so cold. I guess I cranked the AC to low and passed out on top of the covers 6 hours prior. I've never done that before or since. My head is aching, my mouth feels like an ashtray, and my entire body feels like I've been walking naked on a glacier. I walk to the bathroom and chug a couple glasses on yucky sink water. Like so many other Vegas mornings, I do a pocket dump and money count. The pocket dump produces nothing of interest. And I can't find my wallet. I eventually find it inside one of my socks in a drawer, never done that before, but there is only a $10 bill inside. I go open the room safe and it is empty. In all my trips to Vegas, I have never blown through my bankroll on the first night. Hell, I've never blown the entire bankroll before the last day. I always have some discipline, but not this time. My heart drops into my stomach and I sit there on the edge of the bed trying to piece together WTF happened. It's a terrible feeling to realize you have lost your entire bankroll, and you don't even remember losing it.

I then get a text from my brother asking if I'm up, and saying that he wants to go get breakfast at Grand Lux. I told him to give me 30 minutes and I would meet him downstairs. Fast forward and we are looking over the menu when Bro says, 'you were pretty drunk last night'. I said "yeah no shit, and you want to know the worst part, I lost my entire bankroll". My brother looks at me and says 'you don't remember?'. He then proceeds to pull a piece of paper out of his pocket and hands it to me. I look at it with confusion and ask what's this? "It's everything you deposited at the Palazzo high limit cage before we left. I had you deposit everything for safe keeping". My jaw literally hit the floor. The ticket had a 2 with 4 zeros. I had $20,000 waiting for me. In a micro second, I went from the worst feeling I've ever had in Vegas, to the best feeling. How the fuck do you forget about depositing $20,000 in winnings at the cage? I've never won half that much in a weekend. My best gambling night ever, and I don't even remember the best parts.

I have the best brother ever. Thanks for keeping me safe. Love you.

    Only in Vegas.

Only one time in Vegas did I get blackout drunk, and it was a long time ago. I was at MGM Grand and I drank 3 of those large slushy drinks from Fat Tuesday. Next thing I know I'm waking up sitting on the toilet in one of the casino restrooms in Tropicana.

Another time, I wasn't black out drunk, but drunk enough to think I found a slot machine in Excalibur that had a glitch that only won. I did end up with a lot of winnings in my wallet. But the next day I went back to Excalibur to find this machine, it wasn't there anymore...

I have not, but absolutely no judgies if someone else does. I love my drinks in Vegas, but just don't like getting "drunk drunk". Throw the fact that I love to hit the "spin button" even sober, I don't need any help burning through money.

Again though, I DO love my drinks in Vegas, I just prefer a happy buzz to "why do I have a tiger in my bathroom" schlitzed! :)

LOVE the story @KnotGillty though! Cripes, if I could walk away with 20k I'd forgotten about, I might opt for schlitzed! Loved reading how a "bad" night was actually epic, in a good way!

I love "LOVE" these "higher rolling than me" stories, but my best ((Drunk)) was a last night before leaving... wife to bed, stopping at the (horrible 6/5 bj table at nyny) I should now better, but was staying there soooo....
buy in for $60 (all I had on me at the time, responsible) and with a table of complete noobs ran it up too $600. Walked the way of MB looking for a craps game, but being a don't player I refused too stop on a table of pass players, I respect all bettors.
Woke up in the room with $400 extra and a faint memory of one of those stupid bubble craps things and a .05 cent Tito. ooops I lost $200 because I refuse to piss people off. Luckily I'm over that, screw everyone else I'm there to make $$, Lets play the Don'ts...
