    Funny, the first thing that came to my mind when I read that was the book Heads in Beds, a memoir of a seasoned New York hotel employee Jacob Tomsky. He would put problem guests into room 1212, because tired/drunk/incompetent guests would often dial "1-212" on their in-room phones, forgetting to dial 9 (and, of course, not to dial 1, since they're in the 212 area code and don't need to dial it)... and the room phone in room 1212 would often ring off the hook for this very reason.

    I thought room 411 might have been a similarly unfavourable room on the way of thinking that if one would dial 411 for information (is that still a thing?), whoever is in room 411 would likely get a whole lot of phone calls too.

    But, good thing that's not where Sonya ended up :)

    Can't wait to see how this trip report unfolds!

    There is more to that receipt that doesn't show because it has real names on it. We had 4 MyVegas vouchers that were supposed to be for $200, but one was written for $1 by mistake. I think the taxed amount was on the bill over $151.

    I wanted to post about my amazing celebratory day, but I need to be up to meet some people for breakfast in a few hours. I'll get to it tomorrow.

    Yes, it works out if $151 is considered tax free.

    ($232-$151) x 8.25% = $6.68

    So you actually got overtaxed? Booooooooo
