Heading to Cosmo in a couple days. Thinking of playing some craps and wanted to know your thoughts on their tables. Are they friendly, lucky, fun? Was the lowest Pass bet $10 or $5? Are they crapless or regular? I've always walked by but never stopped to shoot. That's going to change this trip.

    thanks,
    Jesse

On the weekend...and some week nights all craps tables were $25 and up. I walked right through. I play at least triple odds and I'm not about to lay out $100 per number.

They are all 3x4x5x odds. Never seen crapless there. They used to have $5 tables early in the morning, but haven't seen that for a few years. You can find $10 tables at slow times, but its usually more. As for lucky, I would say they ar just as lucky or unlucky as any other place on the Strip

I would be floored if you saw a $5 game there, and downright surprised if you saw a $10 game except for maybe at 10 am on a midweek day during a dead time. I'd expect $15 to be the min.

The bubble craps game may be $5. That's about it.

When I was there in May (for a week so including weekends and weekdays) the lowest min I ever saw was $15 rising to $25 in the evening.

In the evening? $15 minimum. I lost $300 in about 25 minutes when I played there back in May. Table was ice cold.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Hopefully I'll be there early enough to catch the $10 tables.

For the record @HoppinHardWays, I liked that you added input, NOT that you lost! Better luck next time!

Thank you! I'd always wanted to play craps at Cosmo as it had been one property I had not played at. It was a nice evening, had a great dinner at Aria. Then went and had a few drinks at the Chandelier. Then hit the craps table and it was short lived. The good news is that night after wife had went to bed, I went and hit a $15 table at Encore and won about $800.

Finding a $10 crap table at Cosmo is fleeting...if it’s $10, it’s becauae it’s DEAD MIDDLE NIGHT..and even then as soon as someone walks up; they’ll bump it to $15.

I've yet to figure out how they decide setting the table minimums. Today at lunch time Cosmo had a $10 and $15 table. That is the first I'd seen the $10 table there this week. Aria is where I tend to go to consistently find a $10 table. Bellagio has had the $10 tables as well during the day this week.

That's not accurate. I playe thhere this morning at 10am and both open tables were $10. I was playing $25 to $100 on the line and they never bumped it up.

Ok; maybe on a Wednesday morning only.
One day I’ll be able to afford going to Vegas during the weekdays ;p

I know there is a method to their madness that I don't understand. They'd rather have an empty $25 table than bump it down to $10 to attract players, so I am sure there are valid reasons.

I've bought in a few times on a $10 table at Mirage and Encore, and once a few players get started they bump it up to $15. Of course, you are already grandfathered in at $10.

I played with @Hogman in Jan on a Saturday around 4pm for $10.

This last trip Sunday to Tuesday never say it below $15 but it was vets day and the Tuesday Blackstone had a bunch of investors there for a conference

Admittedly, the whole casino was slow this morning. Walked past the tables a few minutes ago and it was packed. I woud be surprised to see any more low minimums for the rest of the week

The odd thing when I was there esp on the Tuesday morning the tables were dead.

UTH was even $15 but was brought down to $10 by noon.

I dont get it sometimes. I am sure they have their reasons and metrics though

Who knows. I walked by this morning at 8:30, oone table open with a tnn dollar minimum and it was packed. I went back at 10 to play, it was empty, still ten bucks. I bet my usual line between 25 and 100. Another guy joins me 15 minutes later and bets $15 on the line. Then they bump it up to a $15 minimum.

During the week, you might find $10 craps tables in the morning, but by noon they are generally at $15. On the weekends (Fri-Mon) they start out at $15, mostly $25 minimums on Friday and Saturday night.
