Looks like there are some very attractive prop bets on favorites.

    https://www.sbnation.com/golf/2018/11/20/18103812/tiger-woods-vs-phil-mickelson-odds-prop-bets-the-match

    No hole in one -1000

Tiger or Phil will talk about other sports -300

Trump will not be there -1000

I would put money on all of those...can’t see any of them not winning...particularly no hole in one, they will only have 8 total tee shots on par 3’s.

Can anyone on the ground in LV confirm that these bets are actually available anywhere? Westgate, perhaps?

Haha these are funny! Do those types of bets pay out ever?

Question: when can I bet on "the game"? I land around 9:00a and wanted to place some bets, but don't know where or how bet on different things (do I say "I'll do $10 for no hole-in-one, and $10 for X to win"?)! Sports betting is a new world.

All three are solid, imo. Trump not being there has to be a major shoo-in, right?

Sometimes. The super bowl has been plagued with safeties and one overtime bet lately. The OT bet was due to come in eventually though.

You will make the bets at the sportsbook with a clerk at desk.

You have until they tee off to bet, which is scheduled to be noon PT today.

And yes, you basically bet that way you're describing.

But make sure they don't accidentally make it a "parlay" (a bet where all bets must win to get paid). That accidentally happened to my gf last trip. Fortunately, she won both bets and got paid more money as a result.

Now keep in mind if you bet only $10 on no hole-in- one and $10 on no Trump. You currently would only win $1 on each of those bets. But I think they are both solid investments and personally would bet more. Especially the no hole in one.

Have a good time in Vegas!

The entire package is a shank, as the LA Times worded an apt headline this morning, from choice of venue (and I love Shadow) to the non-event nature of the whole thing to the media masturbation.

I don't follow golf closely, but I thought I read there was no gallery for this event. Did that change? I wonder how many observers they are letting on the course

Being Shadow Creek, it never was going to have galleries, per se. That's why it should've been on another course. There will be people out there, obviously, rollers like my friend, folks tied to the players, sponsors and promoters, but nothing in the way of what we think of as galleries. Shadow wouldn't stand for that in the first place, and it doesn't pass spectators well, anyway.

Interesting just listening to them walking together chatting about their kids etc etc.

Free in the UK so will watch a bit of it but I would never pay for watching this.

I would put $5 on the hole in one! Who knows they are the best, $5,000. Payoff on a $5 bet

What book would give you 1000 to 1 odds on it?

-1000 means 1 to 10 in Vegas sports book lingo . No way a book gives 1000 to 1.

I think it would be a lot more fun to watch me and some other hack play for $8 million, winner take all.
I can promise shanked drives, missed putts, dirty jokes and lots of swearing. Oh- and I could REALLY use $8 million.
Surely that’s more fun than watching 2 old pros who have plenty of money go out there for 18 holes.

I will volunteer to play with you. I was hitting 400 yard drives in my teens..... 200 straight and then 200 to the right.
