Where's the best place to catch games downtown? We're going more for atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks?

4 queens upstairs cigar video poker lounge. Whatever that is. Cheap video poker and drinks (tip). Play speed does not seem to be an issue. No play, probably. Don’t kill the goose. Fremont sports book looks good as well as a bar close to entrance from 4 Queensnsde. Penny keno just barely on the floor with good sight lines. No real sports book with reasonable drinks anymore ....until......the next post clarifies. Good luck.

I hope that the new casino being built where Las Vegas Club was has a big sports book with good viewing, Downtown really needs that. Sometimes I hop on the Sams Town shuttle and hang out in their sports book. Lots of TVs plus 1 large screen. Or take the wax to the Suncoast, good biewing there also.

Agreed. You can get comp drinks with minimal play at the bar. Or if you’re buying, buckets of beers are usually on special. I think it was about $15 for 5 beers.

Seating is comfy, TVs are new, bartenders are awesome.

Joe, I assume you’ve been there more recently than I have... is it still relatively slow? I’ve never seen it crowded. A group of 12 of us had plenty of seating. Although I’ve only been there for MNF and NCAA Saturday.

Probably one of the books as previously mentioned.
Problem with some of the bars and places like Chicago Brewing is lack of available channels.

The big bar inside the D on the first floor (not sure if this is the Vue Bar or the Long Bar) has had a ton of different games on when I've been there

@Odelay77 We were there last month for MNF & Brewers playoff game. They were both on at the same time. Plenty of room for us at the bartops and the seating area was maybe half full.

I am kind of looking to find out the same answer. Me and a few friends are planning on going for the NFL playoffs. I am hoping to talk them into staying downtown, and want to have a good selling point on a good place to watch games.

Do you need to bet to watch inside a sportsbook? Or just buy cocktails? Never been to Vegas during football season before and my wife is a die hard Vikings fan.

Generally, no need for either. Just sit in an open chair and enjoy.
