If you understood how much he has done for both Cleveland and Detroit you wouldn't say that.
Would love to see CET buy all 3 and Dan to buy the Lions.

If you understood the damage he caused with Quicken, to both the public and its employees, you wouldn't say that

I will be glad to see someone else come in and run them. JACK Cleveland and Thistledown are much worse since CET left!

I agree on the casino and wish CET would take them over. I wonder how it would work with Caesars Windsoracross the river from Greektown Casino. Will see

I really want CET to buy them. I loved staying at the Cleveland Ritz for free, but have been back only once since they left CET.
Gilbert also owns about 30% of Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, so I see CET buying that piece at least.
Caesar's Windsor is a lease from the Ontario government and it expires in 2020, and they just got done with 3 month strike. So they could buy the MI assets, which won't close until 2019 and then leave Windsor in 2020. Sports betting could be a big factor in this decision.

The problem is the state of Michigan had a rule on having distance between same ownership casinos. I believe it's 50 miles. If the state would ease the restriction it would be a no brainer I am sure.
Wish sports betting would be legalized soon.

CET doesn't own Caesars Windsor, they just manage it for the province of Ontario. I wonder if their contract with Ontario would allow them to also operate a Detroit casino (Greektown). It would be great for me, personally, but I don't know if it will happen. I suspect that CET will purchase the Ohio properties, and Greektown will be sold to somebody else.
