Where would you stay comped? Flamingo, Harrah's, The Linq, or Bally's?

I'm pleased that we could assist, enable, and inspire you to book a trip. May you have as much a fun as us. Now go get some.

PS...not sure when you are going but JR and I are doing Tahoe/Reno in 8 sleeps for 5 nights. I will be doing a TR for that one as well. If you haven't gone on your trip yet it may reinforce your just and proper decision to have booked your trip.

I will be following along. My wife and I lived in Pleasanton Ca., just outside of San Francisco quite a few years ago, and we did Reno and Tahoe over three days...we loved it. Also, the Company I worked for back then had a couple meetings in Reno and the spouses were invited. We had dinner in Reno during one of these trips, and Elijah Cook Jr./Maltese Falcon was sitting alone at a table next to us. I invited him to join us, and our group, and we had an incredible time. In fact by the end of the night he said I might be able to make it in Hollywood . I think he could have out drinked us both.
The following year I was transfered to LA but I resisted the temptation to pursure that avenue.

I've stayed Linq and liked it, but.... Bally's. Resort Queen. Largest room of the strip properties you list. Totally new. Access to Paris. Choice of 2 pools. Around the corner to Ellis Island.

    Not even ghetto fabulous.

As a registered guest at Ballys, do I get access to other CET property pools? If so, which ones?

Good info. Very interesting. I meant 2 pools without having to hit the sidewalk. You can access Paris pool from Ballys without going outside till you reach the pool deck.

I'd go Bally's or Harrah's.... Bally's has the biggest rooms, and I love love love Paris and Bally's is basically Paris' north wing as it's all connected inside. I also like to eat at a lot of the places at Bally's Grand Bazaar.

Harrah's is a long time favorite, love the location, and the Valley Tower rooms are one of the best values on the strip. I've had no issue getting Valley upgrades - hell, the automated check in randomly gave me one last time! Property vs. Property, I like Harrah's over Bally's - i just love Bally's proximity to Paris.

I'm a huge fan of the LINQ, but with the construction for the Zip Line and Kind Heaven basically taking away a huge chunk of the casino (RIP TAG), I'll probably be playing there a lot less than usual for a while.

Bally's Jubilee Tower. Rooms are on the Strip. Have stayed there and my # 1 choice.
Harrah's, but it must be the Valley Tower only.
LinQ rooms are small but nice, stayed there last time.

If your room is comped but it's only for a standard room, use the sandwich for Jubilee Tower room, if at Harrah's, use the sandwich for the Valley Tower.
    This is a must......LOL.

We have comped rooms every trip for 17 years.....ALWAYS stay at Bally's or Paris....could stay at any CET property but Bally's rooms are large & everything is close by. The new resort rooms or Jubilee rooms are great.....especially if you get a fountain view!

That great. Now, keep in mind that the Jubilee Tower has odd and even rooms. "Even" facing the North Strip, Cromwell, and "odd" facing the South Strip (Paris).
Some people in here hate noise (i love noise, last i heard Vegas is still a 24hr town).
I have stayed at Bally's many times since the 80's, still my favorite Vegas resort. The location is, and always has been, perfect IMO.

Ballys simply for the pool and easy access to the Stage Door. I always liked the north tower high floor looking out over the pool.

Have stayed at all props mentioned, and had a good stay at each. I would have gone with Ballys myself.

If it were me, I would choose Bally's if for no other reason than to set up shop in a different part of the strip. Personally when I change rooms mid trip, it is to experience a different vibe or a different part of the strip. The Bally's rooms are on par with, or better than, the other choices so why not change neighborhoods.

WOW, the members of the VMB are outstanding. Thanks for all your opinions/insight as it is very much appreciated. Tomorrow I will book our trip to my favorite destination....Las Vegas. Last year my wife, daughter, and my wife's sister traveled to Ireland for two weeks, and they loved it. My wife asked if I would join them...I said, have fun. If I'm going anywhere outside of Ijamsville, Marland, it's to Las Vegas or to Florida to visit family....but I digress. LOL. Tonight I will read every post on this thread to my wife and get her feedback, which I will more than likely go with....she's the boss. ;)
With that said, I'm down to Bally's and Harrah's....Bally's has a slight edge. Again, thank you, and any additional feedback will be more than welcomed.

    Viva Las Vegas.

If you plan on using the pool at Ballys, the resort room will be handier to the pool than the jubilee rooms, the elevator goes directly to the lower level where the pool access is (and access to the monorail). Whereas you have to go across the casino floor to access the pool from the jubilee tower....jubilee tower is closer to the strip and poker room...
