Many of you have probably seen the December CET deals for those on the Total Rewards website. The rooms are free. You pay the resort fees. In Laughlin, those fees are just $10 a night so I just booked two nights at $22. With three complimentary nights at the Colorado Belle, that gives me now 5 nights in Laughlin for just $22, unless my Colorado Belle room is a total bummer. They I might have to shop around while I'm there.
Most comments said to stay in Central tower in Laughlin. So I did. I like their 3-6 limit poker, so I'll be fully entertained.

I booked 3 nights for the end of January (couldn't get all the nights comped at the Golden Nugget) and my resort fees were $12/night so you got a deal! I was tempted by the north tower rooms "with a view" but just remember how noisy my one stay was in that section (kids EVERYWHERE). So I am doing central tower with no view. When is your trip?

I was unaware the Resort Fee had spread to Laughlin. :( Las Vegas and Honolulu are the only places I've seen them.

My comped room in early September had no resort fee. I guess they've changed.

No resort fee on my comped Tropicana Laughlin room. Luckily CET is the only company doing resort fees in Laughlin.

Don't miss the current fee at Colorado Belle and Edgewater. It is just under $5 and they don't call it a resort fee so they can advertise no resort fee and still add it to the bill.
I started this thread a couple years ago. Things have changed a bit since then. Harrah's resort fee is higher.

I just checked my TR offers last night for Laughlin next weekend....thought the app was broken because all the rooms were free! Then, boyfriend checked his offers (he's Platinum) and he got some of the newer remodeled rooms for free in the "adults tower" - guess we're going to Laughlin next weekend! :D

I just booked a Harrahs Laughlin charter yesterday. There's a $30/pp booking fee, but they said that everything is comped after that. I'd be surprised/pissed if I'm charged a resort fee when I get there... it was not mentioned anywhere when booking.

Yep, same here. Luckily, this one lines up with our five year wedding anniversary! It's kismet... I'm guessing that I used up all my luck with that magic scheduling and now the machines are going to brutalize me. Oh well...

we go to laughlin often and have never paid a resort fee. Haven't stayed at Harrah's in recent years but have stayed and golden nugget, edgewater, aquarius......no resort fee at any of these. We are usually comped so IDK if that makes a difference. When we stay at Tuscany in vegas comped, we don't pay a resort fee either and there they do have resort fees for regular paying customers.

That is most likely because of the new pool area that they will charge to use if you are not guest and also will include free Wi-Fi, that they now charge for. Before you had walk to Aquarius to use their free Wi-Fi. There may be more things included, do not remember as it was few days ago when I looked.

As mentioned, Harrah has a $30 booking fee. But no resort fee or charges when we have gone. That was the deal 6 months ago when we last went there.
