Nice job, minus 600 on that kind of coin is outstanding.

I saw the crib in the room at Cosmo and now I'm picturing you pushing it all the way from TI to Cosmo with the baby in it when you moved.

Loved the trip report. Your girls are adorable. Great comeback after being down, something I can't seem to do. Congratulations on another great family Vegas trip.

I need all the luck I can get!

If I was, I'll be pissed we didn't get a beer together! We stayed Tues Feb 19th and flew home early Sat Feb 24th

Thanks! The wife is smarter than I. She packed correctly for the kids. I was just wearing my Adidas track jacket. Not very warm.

Thank you JJ! About a week after V-Day. Had I gone that week, it would have been 20 degrees better!

It is getting to the point where I wont even go to Vegas unless I can prey on my offers. About $1K in Free Play is enough to make the trip for 4 nights. Usually that Free Play becomes a bankroll saver, like it did my last few trips. Sooner or later I'm sure they will see I'm not worth what they are giving me. But until then!

I said the same thing once I figured out the double room deal. The trick, when getting over comped, never tell on yourself that they gave you too much! I wonder if these offers with Cosmo will stick, or if I just burned my first "Tire Kicking" comp with them. Last time I stayed there it was on an offer match. This is the first real generated offer I used. Fingers crossed!

Thank you and Good Luck! I really like their casino. Its big enough to keep me entertained and they have a great mix of old and new slots.

Yup! It is the last one that i know of in Vegas. Just behind the Bond Bar up front. Your back will be literally pointing towards the window to the Strip. It is kidde corner to "The Voice" slot, if that helps.

    Thank you so much!

Thanks for saying so Bre. I'm glad they look like their mom. She is good stock.

Thank you for coming along for the ride Worm! Comebacks, I had a few. Don't get me wrong, I had my share of losing streaks. And plenty of them as well. No one wants to see pictures of machines I lost on, or read about me bitching (too much, I still bitch). Take away just one of those $1,000+ hits and my trip goes upside down really fast LOL.

Let us know how your trip works out, I'm always curious to see how others vaca in Vegas with their families!

    Thank you Fet!

Sadly, by the time I started to do Vegas in the early 2000's, the Stardust was a bit of a shithole. A fun shithole, but still on life support by then.

Thanks Mike! For sure Vegas can be a great deal. Just flights from Chicago to Orlando are over a grand for the 4 of us. I think my kids would have fun on a dirt farm in Arizona to be honest with you. But Vegas has that extra sparkle that they all seem to like LOL.

Thank you! We try to keep it balanced as well as we can. Some decent food, some fast food. Some gambling, some arcading. Hard to keep everyone happy all the time. But Vegas has a good mix of something one of us likes at a time anyway.

LOL Geo, sadly I dont sleep much. I did the first time we Vegased with a kid. We played family time all morning and I gambled all night and slept in. But the wife hated being the one to wake up early and wander around with a kid. I knew it wasn't fair. So now i suck it up and make due on 4-5 hours sleep. Which is getting tough in my old age!

Thanks and I love your handle!

My Reports, to me, are like a personal diary. I like looking back in time and saying "I remember that!" I'm glad other people enjoy reading them as well.

It is like an online scrapbook, and it is fun seeing my kids grow up on vacation, without having to crack out a bunch of photo albums.

To be honest, not a whole lot to see. The gambling conditions are good. the slots seem fair and the table limits and rules are decent, for the Strip. As an Independent I think they try harder, and comp better, to get players VS the chains.

But outside of that, no real shops or really good dining options. And the casino itself, while well laid out, is sort of plain.

Thanks Steph, I have been on a bit of a streak lately. By streak I mean I haven't lost too much money LOL. I'm still waiting for another profitable trip, those are hard to come by!

By design, I stopped just short between my 2 trips. I should have roughly 19,000 Tier Points. Their club has a rolling expiration date. So if I had earned the extra 1,000 points now, I would be Gold through next Feb. But I plan on doing Vegas again later in the year, and I'll hit enough for Gold in an hour or so then, and my 365 day clock will start rolling from that time.

    Thanks JC!

    Thanks Em!

I tried to get back some of your Treasure Island money from those pricks, I got back some, just not all of it for you. Beers on me! And I would love to push that crib down the Boulevard packed full of their shit. I say their shit since I pack enough to fit into a night bag.

We would look like the opening of the Monkees TV show

Another great report Grid. You sure got a lot of play for your money. The polar bear at Coke is worth every penny they pay him. I got some great pics with the wife a few years ago.

Great report! Can you compare the NYNY arcade to the Excalibur fun dungeon? Which do your kids like better?

One of the reasons I split up my trips is to capitalize on Free Play.

Just finished reading your trip report - very impressive. Not only were you able to do a ton of things for your kids, you also gambled a tremendous amount. That is really hard to pull off. Your management of the comp systems is also impressive, you get fantastic value for gambling dollar - you do great on slot machines overall. Doesn't seem like I have the luck that you do, but on the other hand, you play a tremendous amount at a much higher $$ level. Maybe I just need to play more at higher levels. Again, fantastic trip report, thanks for writing.

Enjoyed the report as usual! It's a great feeling to be down to your last spin and suddenly come back from the dead. When I do, I make sure to tell my wife I didn't lose anything yet. I think I will give Ti a try next time to see if I get some good free play offer.

OMG great report - fantastic pics and c’mon, you know they need more people with tattoos to visit, right? You’re the new ‘in crowd’!
